Necrosani: I liked the games on principle but when I played them my interest just sort of petered out. I never could get through those games. I like the idea of them but they just weren't too much fun. Dungeon Siege II and III were improvements over the first but they were still kind of meh. Just not interesting....failed to hold my interest. Diablo and Divinity both do it much better. I finally got a pc that could run Divinity Original Sin Enhanced and I'm loving it. Larian Studios always puts a lot of detail into their games. Their first Divinity game was a combination of say Diablo and Morrowind. You could pretty much interact with nearly everything. It was almost too much just looting a single house for all the kitchenware lol.
Divine Divinity was inspired mostly by Ultima VII, as Larian were big fans of that saga. They just put a little bit of Diablo there because it was the big seller back then.
