You and some of the others always liked the sounds of the piano....when staff would take the time to play it, that is.

Heading to it, you plink a few keys as you hum a tune you like. Seemingly, nothing happens....and you are about to go back to the others when the lid suddenly clamps down on your hands as the piano begins to play by itself.

As you try your best to pull yourself free the lid opens, and a pair of hands reach out and grab you.....pulling you into the wide open maw of the piano as the few others that followed you into the daye roome watch/listen in horror. They then rush back to the others to get away from the awful sights and sounds, and to tell the others what happened.

Op note to all - New rule added: When spending a token....players may change their selected "set piece" if they change their mind, but ONLY if they do so before I see/read the post. Once I read it it is "locked in" and the choice made becomes unchangeable.

Also for those who were curious: there are around 50% nothing responses, and around 25% or so each of fail and win responses.

Question - are there enough bad outcomes for everyone? And slightly less important, now that I struck out - were there enough good ones?

Welcome to the ghost realm! First I thought it was just a stupid accident that killed me. Now I've seen that this asylum is really cursed and haunted. Exciting!

To answer your question: there aren't enough bad or good outcomes for all players to either all win or all lose.

With the originally planned number of players there were enough bad outcomes so that there was a possible slim chance that near everyone might be eliminated if many players "chose poorly".

With the current number of players and the setup as it is, it is a near certainty that everyone will either win or lose.....with there being more losers than winners(just like in a CYOA book....which was usually full of mostly bad endings).

If you take the rough percentages I listed in a post # 33 and compare it to the number of total set pieces on the map in the OP post, you should be able to get a guess of how many wins and fails there are scattered among those set pieces.

You sayin you think it was rigged from the start? o.0 ;)

As i understand, i get 2 tokens per turn. if I survive my first token, can i save 1 token for next turn and thus have 3 token next turn? or can my pockets only carry two tokens? :O

Micro bomps over to the Physiciane's Office (Room 4, and wrinkles his nose at the light. He briefly glances at the Leg lamp on the desk but turns away and bomps over to the globe, wondering if there might be any clue as to where we all are. After all, that would influence what we try to scavenge....
