So when do we get another DRM-free game or is it going to turn into Steam Weekly Sale?

That website died the moment they introduced THQ bundle. It stopped being different thanks to combo pushing multiplatform/DRM-free/charity. Now it's about being the cheapest deal anywhere and oh, by the way, charity.
Am I the only one who's been having trouble receiving Humble Bundle e-mails today? I even tried the key resender about 9 hours ago and received a mail with my keys just an hour ago.
I wouldn't go as far as to say it died - but it certainly has lost some of it's appeal to me.

Am only a little frustrated to see me waiting for the next release in hope it's something good - only to rule it out because... you know DRM. And that they now feature definite timeframes for their offers (something you can wait for/not suddenly emerging from nothingness) makes it worse not better. ^^
dang thats a nice bundle to get , played killing floor during steam free weekend its pretty fun co-op game
Well, their current bundle is the Android one, so I'm guessing you can expect more DRM-free stuff in the bundle after that.

The Weekly Sale seems to just be whatever they can get so far since they've only been doing it for a few weeks now. So, safe to say that Steam/Mixed/DRM-free are all possibilities.
great for buyers.shit for devs.not really into hib anymore.
Red Orchestra 2, you say? I'll buy that for a dollar!

I'm sorry to say I can't be bothered anymore by HB's charity stance, especially with these weekly sales. I'm not made of money, yo! I'm also afraid that after having bought a new PC last week and a handful of new games in the last two days I'm out of any reasonable spending cash, so I'll be a real cheapskate for once. Add to that the fact that I've found multi-only games to be extreme gambles. I've been burnt too many times before...

One thing to keep in mind is that the Weekly Bundle is a separate thing from the HIB deals. I think drm-free bundles will still happen, maybe not as frequently.
The people that said the THQ bundle was a sign of things to come are looking a bit less out there now.

Yes I realize this isn't a direct main page bundle and they have let individual games that required steam use their store front before like Trine 2. I'd guess though the 5 million+ THQ got the first time made the idea of what is essentially a steam key side operation too good to pass up.
I'm more and more disapointed by the Humble Bundle guys. THQ bundle for Steam only, Mobile Bundle for Android only, now two times in a row Weekly Sale for Steam only.

What happened to the good old cross-platform and DRM-free?

Others are doing that now. And they struggle to reach 2000 sales.
I seem to have the first RO in my Steam account, but I'll be fucked if I know how it got there. I certainly didn't consciously buy it, and I've only tested it quickly (4 minutes played according to Steam). Steam force-censors Red Orchestra 1 & 2 to a rather extreme extent if you're playing from a German IP.

Just another example of the clusterfuck that Steam is, and just another example of how the Humble Bundle really only cares about the moneyz. I stopped paying more than the average for bundles when the THQ Bundle farce came to be, and I've stopped respecting them ever since. My support for them stopped at the point they abandoned their principles, and from then tthey only became a source of cheap DRM-free games.

The Humble Indie Bundles have only ever come out two or three times a year, so I'm not sure why people seem to lump everything they do together or act like they're suddenly holding out on everyone. The next DRM-free bundle will probably come out in a month or two and then it'll be another long wait for the one after that. "Oh gosh, it's been 3 weeks since they offered something I was interested in. Those lousy sonsabitches!"

Would have bought the bundle if they have more payment options (e.g. credit card, amazon payments). Unfortunately I use neither PayPal nor GoogleWallet and these are the only options they offer.
