for all of your help and patience in helping to play Gothic 1 again. What a ride. Game is still as good now as it was then. There's just something about Gothic1 and 2 that grabs you, and all you can do is hold on for the amazing ride. I finished it pretty quickly and it was amazing. So now on to Gothic 2. And I've already got it running, with my controller, and with DX11 rendering. Looks great. (screenshot). Gothic 2 actually ran no problems just vanilla. Downloaded the gog installer, installed it, and ran great. And since me experience with modding Gothic 1 was fresh, I was able to quickly and easily add the things that make this great game even greater.

So, to thank all of you for all of your help and patience, below is a code for Wasteland 3, Colorado Edition. Whoever decodes it first and claims it, I hope you enjoy.

Yes sir (or madam) I do, IF I'm still on this rock when it finally comes out. I think it first appeared on Steam as coming soon at least 2 years ago. Steam's definition of soon appears to be similar to gog's

Congratulations on finishing Gothic I. Definitely one of the best games ever.
By the way, there will be a Nintendo Switch release of "Gothic Classic" on September 28. It is not a remaster/remake, just a port.

List of fixes is quite large.
Would be nice to have them backported to PC, *sigh*. :(

Hopefully, some person familiar with Gothic modding/scripting tools, will make an unofficial mod in the future to backport them to PC. :/

Okay, I just did it, stone cold without looking at key or refreshing my memory, and I got the right code. So i'm pretty convinced there are no typos. I was very careful and putting it in notepad and testing too before posting. What I'm saying is that I'm as confident as I can be that there are no typos/mistakes in the "coded code" so to speak. It does translate to the actual code to redeem Wasteland 3, Colorado Edition.

Haven't failed. It's still not claimed. I will give an additional hint every day, but I think tomorrow's hint will likely suffice.

That "quite large" list of fixes for the Gothic 1 port reads a lot like the list of fixes in the G1 Community Patch.

One thing I could never figure out, even using the Community Patch, was that damned column that always fell the wrong way. This was a listed fix in the Community Patch, but I could no longer get it to fall, period. I remember being mesmerized by it when I first played so long ago because the column becomes a highlighted object and I was eventually able to get it to fall, but it fell in the direction opposite of the canyon to the chest. Using G1CP 1.2, I couldn't get it to do anything (even though it was still an object you could highlight. Tried just grabbing it, tried backing up, swigging some Potion of Swiftness and running into it (which often led me to bouncing off and falling off the cliff lol) and I couldn't do anything with it.
