Can you be more specific?

Where are you clicking to install? Is this in Galaxy or on the website?

Even better, can you post a screenshot showing where it's asking you to rebuy the games? That should help with troubleshooting.

Yeah, you should never need to rebuy games but there might be a glitch. I have no idea how to get screenshots on whatever your model of phone is, it's probably best to wait until you're back on your computer.

When you say you don't have GOG.com, do you mean the program Galaxy?

You do not need any additional downloader - just use browser to download the game and run the installer.

Off topic:
Why you buy a computer with 1 TiB RAM and play games on it?
I do not know any commercial games that need so much memory.

Hmm, sounds like some sort of DRM at work. Are you sure, it's GOG you own the games on?

Just joking. I recommend to use the standalone installers, directly downloaded from your game page here on GOG. I never encountered any error with them during installation. Really, not a single time they let me down. I guess it's because they must be really well tested.

- You can use your Web Browser / GOG Galaxy (Client software) / GOG Downloader (AFAIK no longer officially supported) to Download Installers for the games you own.

- You can also directly Install the games you own from the GOG Galaxy client.

- All games you own should be listed in the Library.

- In all these cases you must be logged in on GOG(browser/Galaxy/GOG Downloader) using the account you used to purchase those games previously.

Hope this helps.

Also games on GOG are DRM-free, i.e. if you download the offline back-up installer files you can re-install them in the future without logging in/ internet connection.

Also, I believe games once added to your library (through purchase/ free promotional offers/ gifts) are yours to keep forever (or as long as GOG exists :p ).
If you are using Galaxy, it sounds like it isn't logged into your account and thus it thinks you don't own the games. I'd try killing the Galaxy app and restarting it or simply logging in or out and see if it solves it.

True, although the downloader links are still there on every game page and the downloader still works. Tested it myself just a couple of weeks ago. Great piece of software that downloader. https://www.gog.com/downloader

Good program indeed! If only it could compare installer versions before deleting and redownloading... wishful thinking :) (Hey GOG, since you're abandoning the downloader, could you please open-source it? At least let us developers get our hands dirty for the good of the community ;) )
so did you fix the bug?
