kbnrylaec: Off topic:
Why you buy a computer with 1 TiB RAM and play games on it?
I do not know any commercial games that need so much memory.
I guess he means his HD, 1 Terrabyte of RAM doesn`t exist, at least not in desktop PCs and Laptops.

Panaias: Good program indeed! If only it could compare installer versions before deleting and redownloading... wishful thinking :) (Hey GOG, since you're abandoning the downloader, could you please open-source it? At least let us developers get our hands dirty for the good of the community ;) )
There are already open source GOG downloaders that are better featured than the old GOG downloader. Check out GOGrepo for the one I use.

If gogrepo had a GUI we could probably call it "what Galaxy should have been".

Hey there! I know, I use gogrepo from time to time to backup stuff. It's a great tool indeed!

This x1000! I was thinking about creating a GUI frontend for it but my time is limited to make myself more comfortable with Python. I would prefer to use my "weapons" of choice, C++ and Qt, since I am fully experienced in those (I also think the offical GOG downloader is made like this). If anyone has any tutorials/guides/pointers (no pun intended) on using the GOG API (preferably through C++) I would be grateful!
