Matruchus: Damn, I wish those games were here. I still remember when I played the first demo of Medieval Total War which was my first encounter with the series. I was so enchanted by it then. I do own the retail collection of old Total War games but still digital version on gog would be better since some games have issues on newer os. Eitherway im hoping that gog soon pokes Sega enough to release at least old Total War games here.

darthspudius: Considering how much you love these games, I don't understand why you are limiting yourself to GoG. Especially when they are available for dirt cheap else where. We become gamers to play games.
Answer to that is really easy. Drm-free version I can get only here (when it comes) or in retail (older Total War collections ) and I really dislike Steam's intrusive client. Second is the financials. I can not afford to buy it twice (once on steam and later if it gets released on gog). Just the reality of today's world. Eitherway its not a problem - I can wait.

darthspudius: I just don't see the point. For a couple of quid/bucks whatever. Being overly picky seems incredibly pointless.

P1na: That is your opinion, others might (and do) think differently. Doesn't change the fact that you misrepresented your ignorance about the subjects. You know why some people don't want to buy in steam and yet lied about it, which makes you an objectively horrible person. With that kind of attitude you won't be invited to the cool kid's birthday.
I didn't lie, I just didn't acknowledge it because I think at this point it's beyond silly.

You lose really. As much as I'd love to see them on here (drm free *rolls eyes*) I'm not keeping my hopes up. It's a pointless wait.

Rhetoric. You're still a horrible person by the same standard as opinions you don't share being beyond silly; and you won¡t get any DX cake.

Same has been said of other titles that eventually did come here. *shrugs* They'll come or they won't, he'll buy or won't. Either is fine, plenty of other games around.

However, one thing is certain. Telling people who don't want to buy on steam how silly you find them is about as useful as telling you that steam is bad: neither of you care.
