DreamedArtist: Looks nice but a goal of 130.000 I don't see that getting far at all... And steam only? well thats a sale lost cause I officially left steam a week ago and sticking DRM free from now on.
Welcome, +1.
This does look good, its a shame there is no DRM free version. I hope steam users back it though.
Would have backed if DRM-free, as it looks quite promising. Oh well. Plenty of other developers who are going the right way that I can fund.
Remember, this is a friend of a friend, so hopefully they will take my suggestion seriously that they contact GOG to try and work something out. :-)

Strijkbout: The one in the OP works fine for me. =)

By the way there have already been games with the name Bedlam.

http://www.mobygames.com/search/quick?q=bedlam
I came here to post just this. Make sure your friend does a bit of follow up to make sure no one has defensed the rights to that title lately, as I'm sure having to change the name and recognition built up could be a nightmare if it happens later rather than sooner! Not to mention the time and financial pain in the ass it could be.
We could use more Post-Apo here at GOG. Shame about the Steam only rubbish.
Well i asked them about DRM free non Steam.. lets see if they reply....
The game looks very interesting!

I hope they manage to deliver on what is promised and don't end up disappointing me like Stoic did with The Banner Saga.

Regarding DRM free, the devs have stated that it is not a top priority right now, but that they would like to release a DRM free version "later on" if they get enough founding(witch is kind of partially disappointing but still understandable).

Anyways i gave them a few bucks, lets hope more people do the same!

dako93:
Is there a particular reason they're so fanatical about the DRM thing? Are they secretly a branch of Activision or Ubisoft or something?

I would comment on the page, but then that would mean that I would have to pledge something toward them.

They have limited time and money, makes sense that they focus on creating the game for only "one system/platform"(to start with at least). And since Steam is still the big brother of the PC market when it comes down to number of customers, makes sense they start there.

we must have very different definitions of what "fanatical" means...
I want to see this game a light of the day, but unless there is more than Steam key as a backer reward,
I´m not backing.

GOG should be minimum, or at least DRM-Free option.
Only 4 days left on this project, and it's getting very close to being fully funded!

As far as non-Steam releases, it says in their FAQ that Steam is the current priority, but that they will consider others (inlcuding GOG) if it gets fully funded.
Just wanted to mention that Bedlam is completely funded!

Now if we could just get it here on GOG. :-)
I also really hope it gets released on GoG.

I have been waiting for "Mars: War Logs", "Bound by Flame" and "State of Decay" for a couple of years now and nothing yet, lets hope the same dosent' happens here.
