Can you include such information in the newsletter in the future? On May 9th I got the email saying Blood: Fresh Supply was released, but there was no mention of this loyalty discount. If I had known I had been able to buy it for half the price, I would have done so.
I've read that Atari has retaken control of the game which basically means that the Linux version is cancelled and that it's improbable that the remaining problems will be fixed. If that's really true it's highly disappointing.

Oh, it's true.

Here's a quote from Kaiser via Discord not too long after Night Dive took a wet dump on fans' expectations for at least a few more patches:

"Just use NBlood. Move on. Hopefully it'll take lessons from the scripting capabilities in FS and adapt it for itself."

We're as likely to see Atari give the go-ahead for more patches as we are to see Warner Bros. fling open the doors and yell from a megaphone that the Blood source code is finally available so people can stop hacking stuff together from alphas.

They stopped updating so soon? And with the original blood game being unavailable here without this version as well? That sucks.

Glad I stuck with the original(and BloodGDX), then.

(Damn, 3 months out of the gate and they lost the rights and stopped patching already.)

Not exactly, they were given rights as developers. Now all patch requests go through Atari, is all. That may mean we never see another patch, or it might mean if there are any major bugs, they can fix it.

That's f-ing nuts and seems really stupid. Atari SA gonna Atari SA, I guess.
Why can't someone put a nail in Infogrames coffin once and for all, the world is better off without them.

And there is the obligatory “buy another possible abandoned game”sale.
So, first the game is released in a really buggy state. Then ND is quickly releasing some patches to get it to a somewhat acceptable state. Then they release one or two minor patches in three months, because they are busy with 2 other projects, so their excuse is that patches may take longer to develop. And now they say "oops, we are not allowed to patch the game anymore, but it's not our fault!".
This attitude is sickening.

Oh, and in case you've missed it - original DOS version is still available for sale on Steam. There is literally no reason that it can't be available here as well, especially with the way things developed.

Good to hear/thanks for the clarification and corrections. :)

1st bit above: You fforgot how we never needed it(most of us) with BloodGDX/BuildGDX and NBlood being things.

2nd bit above: Also at steam(not trying to toot their horn too much here, but) they at least sell the original game by itself and don't force one to buy the new version to get the old ones.
