The (cater)pillars of heavy-metal warfare.

<span class="bold">Codename: Panzers Phase I</span>, and <span class="bold">Phase II</span>, the acclaimed duo of RTSs where you command heavy artillery while entangled in historical WWII battles, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 40% launch discount. Buying both will grant you a 60% completionist discount.

As kids, playing with toy cannon-cars™ was usually the pinnacle of our accurate reenactment of human warfare. Because tanks can go anywhere, blast through anything, and withstand terrible amount of punishment. The same holds true for their digital counterparts that are tasked with changing the tide of war with real-time strategic moves in iconic WWII scenarios.

Codename: Panzers: Phase I and Codename: Panzers: Phase II let you control infantry and artillery units as you alternate between three opposing factions right in the middle of Stalingrad, Berlin, El Alamein, and even Monte Cassino. Take the reins of war from renowned commanders like Hans Von Gröbel, Aleksander Efremovich Vladimirov, Dario DeAngelis, and Farvan "Vuk" Pondurovik, crush the enemy forces, and relive their greatest victories. It was the dawn of a new era, ushered by roaring, strategic canon-blasts that still echo today.

Manage and position your menacing machines of war in authentic WWII battlefields as you command the <span class="bold">Codename: Panzers Phase I</span> and <span class="bold">Phase II</span>, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 40% launch discount and the 60% completionist discount will last until February 25, 3:59 PM GMT.

Matruchus: MEGA SNIP
oh yeah thats cool, so like the blitzkrieg series then. God I love that game. Although I do suck at it a bit.
1. Are there any differences between the Codename: Panzers Complete Collection you plan to release at the end of the month and the titles you sell (+ will sell for Cold War) here?
2. Maybe you are allowed to answer this: Did Nordic purchase the rights of more StormRegion titles?

Thank you in advanced

(And S.W.I.N.E. was also great.)

chlorique: Cool wishlisted, more serious RTS ala CoH is always nice.

Matruchus: Actually its a RTT game not RTS (again mislabeled by gog) like Company of Heroes but it does have similar tactical combat.
Oh. That sounds more interesting then.
Do you know if it has an active pause (i.e. allows to pause and give commands)?

EDIT: Found an online review that says that indeed it does.

Looks interesting. How's the difficulty?

ThomNG: Enjoy these releases :)

Codename Panzers: Cold War is already in preparation and will come soon!

What about Titan Quest Gold? SpellForce 2: Faith in Destiny + DLCs? The Gothic series (including Arcania)?
Good releases ! I think the gameplay is similar to Africa korps vs Desert rats rather than the Blitzkrieg serie, which has a frustrating difficulty in my opinion.
I've never played these games but they look to be a lot of fun. Thank you for the "new" releases, GOG and Nordic. :)
Instabought. This was a very nice surprise, thanks gog!
Wait, a developer tag with colored text?
Did Gog maybe listen to my suggestion? :P
(not very probable, actually)

Thank you for another lovely game :) *watches the Nordic conveyor belt for when Titan Quest is released on gog*
Awesome addition to GOG catalog but it's missing OST! :o
If a bluetext reads this: the "Buy series" box on the store page for each of these games currently shows 40% off (though the correct 60% discount on each is displayed in my cart when they're both added). You might want to correct that. : )
EDIT: Ah, I just noticed that the series-completion discount is also a temporary one, which is probably why it doesn't show up there. Well, I think it would still make sense to have it show up in that box while it lasts. =)

On another note...
[...] It was the dawn of a new era, ushered by roaring, strategic canon-blasts that still echo today.
...what is a "canon-blast"? Is that like what Disney did to the Star Wars expanded universe? :P

How do you get the 60% completionist discount? If I buy the games saparately I see 40% discount and the second option is buy series, which has both games, for 40% discount as well. I do not see 60% discount anywhere.
