Give 'em the good cop/bad cop routine.

This Is the Police 2 is now available DRM-free on GOG.COM, 10% off until August 7th, 3pm UTC. Nab the original game 67% off until Thursday, August 2nd, 10 am UTC.
The sequel to one of the grittiest crime thrillers of last year, This Is the Police 2 expertly blends an intricate narrative with management/simulation gameplay. Take the role of Jack Boyd as he makes dramatic decisions and employs questionable methods of law enforcement in the cold, violent town of Sharpwood, a community barely holding together thanks to the efforts of the determined but mistrusted sheriff Lilly Reed. How far can Jack bend the law before he breaks?
Dear developers,

I got your game on GOG.com as part of the bundle of both games (This is the Police 1+2). Love both games.

I just wanted to say that I think you're making the game a little bit too easy. The new systems and mechanics you introduced (from TitP 1 to TitP 2) are amazing and they work best with a bit of challenge. The patch 1.0.2 removed much of that challenge and made the starting part of the game entirely too easy to navigate (I played it both pre-1.0.2 and post-1.0.2 on a fresh save file).

If you don't mind, here are several issues I found with the early game (Pretty much the entire November in-game):
-The early Bomb mission throws players into disarray, because failing to prepare for that in advance will make it nigh-impossible to complete, especially for an average player. Delaying this mission 3-5 days would be enough to let player build up his Police Force to tackle it. Alternatively, replace the ordering of Tactical Missions, making the bomb mission appear later and some other mission appear sooner;
-The call spam on the day where Lilly discusses "How well do you think you did your job today?" to me was an obvious attempt to "drown" the player in missions to show that he/she won't always be able to win-win-win, but you don't make it obvious and the player feels that HE/SHE fails, as opposed to the mission (in the original 1.0.0) actually being almost impossible to 100%. A message warning about that in any fashion would make it clear that the game is messing with you, haha.

That's it! No need to make prices better, no need to reward more/punish less, no need for any of these things, unless you wanted to make a new difficulty setting. So that is my proposal, if you indeed are reading this: make separate difficulty settings, the Normal being what you've made it right now and let's say Hard being the original 1.0.0 (or very close to it) state of the game.

All in all, however, I really wanted to say that you've made a superb job (with both games, but especially the second one as it is much more fleshed out and masterfully pieced together) and I am mind-fucked as to why your game has a 50%-60% rating on Steam. People manage to sing high praises to Dark Souls but come This is the Police 2, gg, too hard, close shop! xD
