Regarding the general policy related to games which might include any sort of "nudism", and no matter how they call it, we know what we talk about: All i know so far is that no one can talk for any extended period about this issue on the forum. It will become shut down rather sooner than later, so it is no use even to bring it up. Indeed, no use going to argue about because the "opponents" will try to beat each others until someone is completely nuked down for eternity and for good. There is a very strong polarization related to this matter and a good bunch of users, dunno how many of them, are willing to boycott any site bringing up any "visible grade" of those sort of content (involving nudism in general). To GOG it seems to have become a pretty "heated up" topic already with opponents voicing their opinion on that matter even stronger than any other topic i could think off.
On Steam they simply mostly lock such content away behind a 18+ lock. Although it is no secret, those who want to see it, at any age... got a good chance unlocking it at any time. So far GOG was not really setting up such a lock, but this seems required else those in disfavor might be haunting them even in their bad dreams.
Anyway, no use talking about because this matter is usually "hard coded", so it means, no one would be able to change anyones mind. It would be easier telling a believer "God does not exist"... eventually they might overthink their "potentially false belief", as funny as it sounds.
It seems like GOG has now changed their mostly "censorship free" mentality and it will now become very hard getting many of the uncensored games it seems. If it is bringing them "more luck"; i mean "more gamers", is not yet known... this will become a matter of new insight.
For all the publishers out there: What i do recommend is simply to put a extremely censored version on GOG or Steam, which might only attract one of 2 potentially interested gamers, perhaps even lesser. But it does not matter because, those who are truly interested and are moaning about censorship, they will have the option to get a "better" version on another site (in some cases a patch, but dunno if this might still cause a issue). What truly matters is simply that the game is visible in some way, because without any visibility no advertisement and way lesser buyers.
Some publishers/creators was already accepting "mosaic mode" as a standard, so censorship is their standard... there is no uncensored version anymore. The true question simply is: Why even to create such a game at all if it can not be delivered uncensored? In such a case i would rather create a "jumping frog game" instead of being dishonest with myself and my art... but this is just a very personal opinion.
Do not get me wrong: I only occasionally buy such games if it is able to meet by pretty demanding "artistic taste", so i am not a typical customer of those sort of games and my interest into "protecting it" is rather low, as i may not miss a lot. On the other hand, i stand in for censorship-... and DRM- free content and i got no issues with it.
Besides: I dunno how much influence politics and especially ESRB (rating agency required for releasing games) got but this comment does not look good:
"""The ESRB's highest rating, "Adults Only", has been considered a total ban on the mainstream sale of certain games, as most retailers refuse to stock games carrying the rating, and they cannot be published on major video game consoles due to company policies."""
What matters even more, a retailer (no matter online or "offline") may just straight out refuse such a game due to many complications (simply the general lack of acceptance).
At least there is a uncensored version, but on Vita only, which is nowadays very hard to get. There is even a physical Switch SE box in my countrys retail shop but no one seems to buy it, i guess we know why.
