nightcraw1er.488: They have the cheek to charge 10$ for cyberjunk2077? Who is stupid enough to pay money for it. I would have thought they would try to silently install it as malware.

richlind33: That includes the Witcher code, so there is definitely some value here. o.O
Am am sure if you went deep enough you would find a penny in a sewage treatment farm....

This could be a GOG contest. Find a copy of Cyberpunk 2077 inside a humongous blob of rancid fat hidden on the GOG forum. But to the dismay of the "winner", it can only be accessed with Galaxy. Oh well...

Some brave coder of Cyberpunk 2077 committed a fireable offense of insulting Chinese Communist party

Cyberpunk was created by Mike Pondsmith who himself said that "everything is political".

2077 devs(to themselves): "We missed something when "polishing the content"? Crahp!"

2077 devs(to their fans/customers): "We are working to make a new and improved 2077 experience with more updates to come!"

*2077 devs move quickly to make next "polished content" patch for 2077*

The cinematic trailer was good.

JakobFel: People hated on it on launch because...
You talked to all these people, did you? You know what they were all thinking, do you?

JakobFel: ...gamers can be some of the whiniest children these days
Gamers, like you?

Almost everyone seems to think that it was a train wreck. That the game play does not look like the trailer, that it's too buggy to be playable, and anyone paying the pre-order price has a legitimate reason to feel ripped-off. You are entitled to your opinion, of course, but when you start telling people what they think, when you call people that are telling the truth 'whiners', you lose all credibility.

Maybe it helped CDPR to see that trust has to be deserved and should not be taken for granted. So future releases will (hopefully) be developed more carefully and this one will get the best bugfixing a game ever had ... even if it takes years.

It’s not just the game thoug, it’s everything around it. Loss of investor trust, they are being sued by investors. PS store have ditched them. Loss of a good fair userbase, I for one will never trust anything CDPR push out again. They may fix the game over time, the rest is very hard to gain back.

Loss of a good fair userbase? nah .... idiots you mean, who would ditch their favorite team over such a dispute as cyberpunk has been so far

They were not my favourite team, wasn’t even that impressed by Witcher.3. However if it takes an idiot to stop supporting the likes of blizzard, EA, CDPr then by all means, go ahead, I judge on results not fanboyism.

Lol and you fail in terminology ;P

But yea, CDPR ...growing big etc ... you know .. proper fan base has the right to provide criticism but saying that trust is lost is, in my book a bit much if.. IF you appreciated their games overall

It's a company making a product. Anyone who becomes a fan of profit-oriented company should get their head examined.

A ton of the reaction to this is based on people thinking it would be BEST GAME EVAR and the base console versions being shitty. If you play on PC the game was no buggier than any Bethesda release, and those games are beloved. Before Cyberpunk came out it was obvious that it was destined for a negative reaction because so many built it up to be the second coming of Jesus in video game form. The crappy base console versions just added some spice on top.

Of course expectations will always be important and it is also understandable that CP2077 probably could never fulfill those ... although one have to say that it was CDPR who told us again and again how amazing this game will be ... THEY made people think it would be the holy grail of gaming. Maybe next time they are a bit more humble. Anyway ... what I saw in videos and screenshots just recently (meaning after all those patches) is far from regular bugs that might happen and I am not talking about people who search for those but about people who simply want to play the game. Maybe CDPR took a bite that was a bit too big for them - don't know. However as long as I keep hearing about bugs left and right (in combination that this game obviously is not well optimized) I won't buy it.
