ScouseMouse180: So I've never played Chrono Trigger ever and all I really know about it is that it's supposed to be the best RPG ever... and I love RPGs.
I really wanna play it but would you want to watch me playing the game on the channel for the first time, bearing in mind it'll be my first time experiencing everything about the game so I'll know nothing?
As someone who grew up in the PAL region (Portugal), I didn't get Chrono Trigger until much, much later in time, after it had been overhyped to hell and back and, well, I was younger and less world-savvy, so I bought into some of that hype. I shouldn't have, and I realize that, now, because all Chrono Trigger was, to me, was a huge disappointment. It's a great game, don't get me wrong, but if you go into it thinking things like "best JRPG ever!!!!" or "best SNES game ever!!!!" or even "best game ever!!!!", there's a fairly big chance you're bound to be disappointed with the game.
I wouldn't mind watching you do a blind playthrough of Chrono Trigger, as I really enjoy your videos, but take what I just said into consideration -- also, be advised that this is *a very* long-ass game, so make sure you want -- or are able -- to commit into the the amount of time it would take for you to make it a series. Then again, there would be nothing wrong in just showcasing a few bits and pieces of the game.
I'd also like to mention one of my favourite SNES games, made by Quintet and published by Enix in Japan and Europe:
Terranigma. Sadly, if a game isn't released in the US/NTSC territory, it's kind of doomed to be overlooked and, sometimes, even forgotten, and Terranigma suffers from this fate. I honestly think it's a way better game than Chrono Trigger -- it's one of the best games I've ever played, period --, and if you could get your hands on a copy of it (it might even be available to purchase on Nintendo's eShop, I don't know), I'd love to watch any number of videos of you playing it. Also: as with I said about Chrono Trigger, don't let me overhype Terranigma for you; I'm admittedly biased and blinded by nostalgia. But it *is*, despite all my feelings about it, a great overlooked title that more people should know about.
TL;DR: I'd definitely watch you playing Chrono Trigger, but try not to be too overhyped for it, or it may end up being a disappointment. Also, videos of the awesome Terranigma would be highly welcomed and appreciated. :)
