Maybe it was because I was doing all the character voices etc, I felt a lot more emotional at the emotional bits. And I'm watching your videos of Shenmue despite never having played it. I guess I'm going to take advantage of the fact that they're going to be released in HD for PC. I hope they get to GOG.

Ahh nice one. It'll be a different kind of playthrough to my FF7 one, in that I knew the game inside out, was able to offer loads of tips and advice, explain where every side quest is etc... Chrono Trigger I know absolutely nothing about which is kinda scary cos I don't wanna get stuck for ages or anything but it's really exciting to have a whole new bunch of characters and not just instantly know which ones I'm gonna use, which weapons I want, which spells I'll use etc.

Great to know that I'm introducing Shenmue to at least a few people that either haven't seen it or haven't played it before. I can't recommend it highly enough, if you love getting immersed into a world and a deep story then it's perfect. If you wanna rush through a game and just keep ticking off missions then it's probably not for you. I can't wait for the HD re-releases. Gonna get them on PC cos I have Shenmue 3 pre-ordered on PC too. Plan is to do 1 and 2 on the channel now then I'm ready to go with Shenmue 3 the day it comes out. Can't wait, I've been waiting for this sequel for literally 16 years!
