Ummm, I love LTTP as much as the next Zelda fan(don't think it's the greatest one though) but I really enjoy Zelda 2. I know a lot of people hate it because of the difficulty but I would LOVE to see another Zelda side-scroller like that.
Frankly I would also love to see Nintendo fix the original Zelda 16 bit remake released on the BS-X and get rid of the
timer issue. I would buy it on the eShop easy.

Different strokes for different folks I guess. For me the best Zelda is closely contested between LTTP and Ocarina of Time with LTTP just pipping it. No doubt it's because those were the two that I played the most as a kid though.

I love Zelda 2 as well, I think it gets really unfairly treated/moaned about. It's the first Zelda I ever played so I didn't have that view point of 'why is this so different from the first Zelda' cos it was the only one I knew. Great game but I found it so hard as a kid and that game over laugh from Ganon used to drive me mad.
