hey there! just experienced this same issue with my bluetooths and noticed it kept accessing my microphone for some reason. went into the settings app > privacy > microphone (in the sidebar) > scrolled down to the option that gave apps the allowance to use my microphone and flicked it off. sound works fine now. would recommend if you still face this issue!
