Will the "free" stuff pop up immediately after you click "Buy Now" or when you are processing the order already?

Same for me - I've bought about ten games since the start of the sale, and clicked on loads more, but had not a single freebie. Never mind though - I've picked up some great games - everything I wanted, bar SWAT 3 which I kept missing.

I really have no interest in using a downloader. Downloading via a browser should work. It's fine in Chrome but not Firefox.

You will also receive a receipt in your email from GOG, that shows the list price, the Spring Insomnia discount for the full amount of the list price, and the total marked as "FREE".

Firefox works just fine for me. I don't use the gog downloader either.

I'll second the recommendation. I used to avoid it, but after trying it out - it's the way to download.

I use the DownThemAll! add-on in Firefox, goes a bit faster than a vanilla download and works like a charm. Also makes it way less likely the download will break in the middle.
