LynetteC: I'm using the GOG Downloader through Firefox and I've not had any problems. If you're not using the downloader, I'd recommend it. :-)

cdnred: I'll second the recommendation. I used to avoid it, but after trying it out - it's the way to download.
it's a must for the larger downloads :)

dombrewer: Same for me - I've bought about ten games since the start of the sale, and clicked on loads more, but had not a single freebie. Never mind though - I've picked up some great games - everything I wanted, bar SWAT 3 which I kept missing.
This game needs to pop up sooner! ;)

Eh, not really. Takes only about 22 minutes to download a 1.5 GB file.

Austrobogulator: I really have no interest in using a downloader. Downloading via a browser should work. It's fine in Chrome but not Firefox.

With the downloader you can resume...not so with the browser. A lot can happen in 22 min :)

OK, I've turned off the downloader and tried a manual download from my shelf and it's workin fine. There must be something in your settings that's stopping it communicating withh the site.

What was your hit rate? Manage to pick up some free games?

Yes, that'd be good, but I'm not staying up all night like I did last night... it's already 3am here, so I'm not holding out. I'll have a look again tomorrow though... ;)

I could also guess it could be something to do with your Anti-Virus, or could be Malware.

Have you tried these?:

1. Clear cache and cookies
2. Disable extensions and add-ons
3. Reset Firefox to 'defaults
4. Re-install firefox
