Haha, don't worry. It's easily done.

That's why I buy most of my stuff here... far easier that way and less work to keep track of.

GOG's recent change make 404 errors, when your want to download files that come with a %20 in its filename.

Bug fixed:
the%20_banner_saga_avatars.zip ==> the_banner_saga_avatars.zip

Unfixed yet:
TLD%20S2%20Soundtrack.zip (Last Door: Season 2 Soundtrack)
TLD%20S2%20Soundtrack%20flac.zip (Last Door: Season 2 Soundtrack)

I believe any GOG files that have a %20 in its filename, can not be downloaded now.

And, old files that have ( or ) in its filename, become %28 and %29 now.
A poor user have to download 203 GB for the issue [1], or rename all those files.

Not seeing that issue at the moment...
(Still seeing the no extension for .exes one, but may be some weird IE security "enhancement" added with some update, in case files have periods in their names, which GOG ones do? Since GOG won't work at all in my really locked down FF, no way to test.)

That's why I buy most of my stuff here... far easier that way and less work to keep track of.
I use IsThererAnyDeal.com's collection view for that, though my integration script for loading GOG libraries into it will be a little rickety until December, when I can work on bringing it up to spec.

(Currently, all of my coding time is focused on preparing to move my websites from shared hosting to a mix of GitHub Pages and a VPS ahead of a December 1st fee increase.)

2. Create Profile...

...or just install Firefox Developer Edition since that defaults to using a separate profile.

This probably isn't something that just broke (it probably hasn't worked in months, at least), but it's something I just noticed: when you type the name of a movie sold here (or part of the name, as long as it's not also part of a valid game title; "angry" and "gamers" qualify, for example) into the nav bar's search box, it will give the "No results found" message...BUT, instead of the "Browse all games" button, it will instead have a "Browse movies" button. This is a very weird result, as it seems to mean that the search engine is recognizing valid results in the Movies section, but is just not actually showing them in the nav bar dropdown for some reason.

Cavalary: That's odd. Tried to download the freebies and any .exe comes up as a file with no extension and a [1] at the end of the name. Not only for those games, but for any I tried. Files with other extensions, like .zip or .bin, seem normal. And to rule out something on my end, checked a couple of .exe downloads from other sites and those look normal.
A blue appeared for your problem.

I've just tried to attach a JPEG image to this post only to receive the error message 'Wrong file format!' accompanied by the oh-so familiar 'Please wait. Processing...' and its whirl of doom (both of which disappeared once I clicked 'OK').
My message was posted without any problems, but alas, also without said attachment.

What was the file extension? I ask because if you tried to upload a filename.JPEG named file, that may have been the issue. No offense to the GoG programmers but I see that issue with many softwares as their programmers don't take into account *.jpeg, *.JPG and *.JPEG named files.

edit: Do we have a list of allowed file types? I can't find one.

Also could someone post a throw a way post please. I just discovered an issue of my own and i dont want it combined as it;s different.

I think the problem there is they aren't images... they are background images. Not sure you can even set alt tags for those?

I think drmike is trying to say that it is case sensitive, and only accepts lower case (.jpg) not upper case (.JPG) or other variants such as .jpeg. I'll try to post something .JPG with this post to see how it goes...

... It won't accept uppercase. .jpg/.jpeg works fine, .JPG/.JPEG doesn't.
