Ya te digo is a very common slang term, it is like agree with something... you can say "man this icecream is good!" and then you say "yatedigo" is like saying, yeah you are right... or, yeah I told you... the most accurate one in the meaning would be "yeah I can also say that" so as REDVWIN says "indeed" is probably the word that explains "ya te digo" in English in the best way.
Crsldmc was doing a twist tongue kidding with the term, is funny because is a complete phrase not just a word like "indeed" even if it sounds short, so you can twisted it in several ways and make a complicate sentence as he did.
