Sorry, but I asked why do *somebody* downrate me constantly, not who does that. If you can't stand behind your downrate and just answer why do you downrate me, yeah, why would I think you stand behind anything? thank you, so concrete reason for downvoting. Yes i know that but your title was "you" so i went with that. As to why i don't know but probably because your post annoy someone and i don't think this person or people you are seeking an answer from will come out and explain it here or it may be your lucky day today and someone will.

You are not the only one to get downvoted either, lots of users have - rep for whatever reasons.

I wld hv 2 agree with that, i was downvoted b4 over the way i posted as well (more abt use of short forms rather thant content) but i dun worry over it cos rep is pretty much meaningless over there as most regulars here long enough wld tell u.

So i wld just advise if u really dun 1 b downvoted then perhaps u can b a bit more careful (read: politically correct) over wat u post but personally if it's me i wld still stick 2 how i write. Different context i know but yeah, dun worry abt it too much in general. ;)

This especially applies to a system that doesn't even matter, or have any cause and effect. So it doesn't really affect anything and not worth focusing on.

If I were to guess, you might espouse political opinions people don't like, you might act abrasive and arrogant, or you might post nonsense posts or derail.
Or, there is always those wanting to cause drama, or bring attention to themselves.

Any of those would be ones that have a higher chance of being down-voted.

why do these chickens don't just admit they're the ones behind the downrates? Oh, yeah, because they don't want to be downrated back, because they lack any meaningful reasons behind the downrates and they are just downrating me out of spite and grudge and of course they can't back that up because in reality they are just cunts.

I do not low rate you except the few times you insulted various people without proof. Otherwise most of your posts I have uprated(especially the unfairly low rated ones).

It is likely the same trolls who downrate me/others to get a rise or reaction out of me/others. I post on my favorite games/shows/etc and get low rated, and even on posts wishing people good luck/well wishes, so I know now you feel.

Far as I know systematic/"revenge" downvoting is against the rules so anybody admitting to is open to retribution by reporting. Technically you could try reporting it - if it appears "abusive" which I dont know.

Even if some of them told you it might either be a lie to make themselves look better(trolls trying to pretend they care about the forums) or they dislike you so much & have a certain view of you that's so unshakeable they see no point in posting their reasons why. Of course there are also likely cowards as well who don't want to be put in the downrate crosshairs themselves, as you said.

I reported it a few times over the months, and their replies are always the same: "we are working on it/something", "there's nothing we can do", etc.

Also I heard from another user who talked to a cdpr staffer that they discussed the rep system and decided not to change or remove it for whatever reason they chose, and his reply to that user I talked to was to not use the forums and avoid the forums if they disliked it here as the departments basically run themselves as they wish(including gog forum modding).

I suppose it depends on the post, or someone has some weird grudge against you.
You still keep a good rep, so I don't believe you've been targeted for some low-rating attack, but who knows...
In any case, complaining about being low rated usually deserves another low rated.
(And writing a post like I've just done also does the trick :P )
