Would be great to get some of the more recent final fantasy games for PC. FFXII in particular :)
Wow someone else who likes Final Fantasy 12 :D

As to the question while Square Enix mabye on GOG's list of publishers here for some reason they have not released any of their FF games here.

Hope all you want, but Square Enix hasn't actually given us any games from their actual stables, just the horses they had on loan.
FF XII? That never left the ps2.

Indeed. Of all the FFs to want here, he picks one of the few that absolutely never can be.

EDIT - Well, that "never" might be a little too definitive, I suppose Squeenix could decide to eventually port it some day.

very much unlikely
square likes to plie on the drm with FF too much

and the ps2 games have so far never been ported yet
10 got an HD remake but nothing else
I can guarantee that FF12 won't be coming anywhere near PCs without hitting a Sony console first, as that's been the prerequisite for all Square's latest releases on Steam.

VII + VIII + IX would be easy money though. I'm surprised Square hasn't seen the goldmine waiting to be exploited here. PS1 games may as well be public domain for any emulation fan, so it's not like DRM matters at this point.

they most likely want to herd people in to the walled gardens of steam or psn
where they can keep the pricetags high

and keep control
No.
1. Contact Square Enix.
2. Vote for FFs in community wishlist.
Final Fantasy 12? Not until Square Enix decides to actually port it to the PC. Final Fantasy in general or newer games? Maybe when Square Enix is convinced that GOG is good for more than old games or that DRM isn't profitable, after all.

Eh, it wasn't my intention to sound as "it will never leave ps2", there's even heavy rumors that the ps4 version is being made (port) and if there is something we know of SE is that they're really keen on porting their games to every device.
Why can't you put the actual name in the title? Not everyone knows what "FF" is.

Not many forums are so generous with titles.
