FF = Financially Frustrated, a game series that got 21 parts so far and if you bought the collector's max edition of each you will be so deep in red that your finances fit the title.

Assuming that you are under 50, probably within your lifetime.

When the older titles become old enough, they'll be worth so little that monetizing them in whichever way they can will become their main concern. That's my educated guess anyhow.

However, if you mean within the next decade, I'd say probably not. It will probably only materialize once the sales become close to 0.

PS: I'd love to see the FF titles DRM-free myself. Haven't played anything in the series after FF VII.

Oh, I was really hoping this was about fighting fantasy choose your.own adventure games. There were many remade by the dx studio guys, they would be nice to have here. As for final fantasy, blah shitty jrpg's strike again.
