So I'm gone for a week and come back to this? Wow! Doom? FALLOUT???

Whoever negotiated Fallout with Bethesda should be sent to the Middle East to do the peace process there.
SURPRISE!!!
And while I'm here I might as well ask (though this has probably been covered already several times, but I don't want to go through pages of the news thread).

Fallout is not marked as Owned. And what I see in my library is a "Fallout Classic". Is this just a usual glitch, or is the new release different in any way?

Less cookies in the new version I think.

The new versions have the HD Res mod built on install and as far as I'm aware the new versions don't have the same goodies that the old ones do.

Short story is if you've got the old ones don't bother getting the new ones, same games but with less goodies and no Mac version (or something)

That sucks to be honest. Is there any way to disable it?

You can just change the options in the screen settings. It keeps the performance boost but gives it the original screen size .

I know, but I wouldn't trade that week even for a Half-Life realease on GOG. ;)

I've heard that the Interplay intro has been replaced by Bethesda, but I'm not sure since I own the earlier versions myself.

I don't think it has been replaced, but I haven't played the game before. So, maybe you mean a different intro.

It's still the Interplay intro, at least for Fallout 1 that is. Still haven't got to Two yet.
