I think your first option is the evil and the second is the good one. :)
I've decided to extend the duration of the contest for a little bit on account of the different time zones and to give more good people the chance to join. I will declare the winner in three hours, at 4 p.m. GMT. Good luck!
Oh well, I am good, and I promise, if I win, I'll download and start playing the game soon.
Well, folks, the contest is over and I'm sorry to say it was ended by someone choosing to bribe me. Of course I'm also happy to say that I get to play Lands of Lore 2 now. ;)

Thanks for participating!
ATTENTION! STAY TUNED FOR AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
You know, I've been brooding over the outcome of the contest for the last two hours and somehow it doesn't seem right to me. I feel serious remorse for letting myself get corrupted by taking the bribe. I mean, the world is bad enough as it is, without me adding to it ...

So I've decided to gift the game to one of you anyway! Ta-daa!

...

Okay, who am I fooling ... :D

This isn't about a bad conscience. But to restore your faith in the GOG community: The truth is that the anonymous benefactor was actually a sponsor who took the thread title seriously and chose a third option beyond "good" and "evil", that is to unselfishly bribe me in order for the contest to CONTINUE and let me pick an honest winner at random - which is what I'll do now.

Three cheers for this generous act! :)

GYROCOPTOR!

Gyrocoptor: I am good... But very unlucky.
Wrong, my friend, you can consider yourself very lucky. Check your PM's and have fun playing "Beyond Good & Evil"! :)

I must say I'm severely dissapointed in this community. Charity is all well and good, but it should not come at the expense evil! Now I'm going to have to go headbutt a kitten to balance this out.

Wish you would have written this earlier... We're at disbalance again.

I really laughed hard at this. Well done.

Nobody do anything, I'll go find a kitten and hug it. The balance must be achieved.

As for the contest, I had a sneaking suspicion that this is what would end up happening. Congrats to the winner.
I guess I know what my upcoming weekend will contain. This seriously made my day, thanks Leroux!

JudasIscariot: Well, she did write books large enough to be used as either doorstops or offensive weaponry. I think that qualifies her in that regard, if nothing else :P

SimonG: "Atlas Shrugged" One-handed blunt weapon +1 (+5 vesus socialists)

"Increases selfishness by +100 when equipped" (read Virtue of Selfishness :P)

Not TOO hard though, you might broked it - pay particular attention to the head and eyes, if either start to bulge, thats too hard!

I consider the title "philosopher" to imply more than "capable of writing huge books".
