Knowing how to guess the place of the secret room makes it easier too..

The difficulty varies extremly from game to game.. heavenly depending on what items you found and how many keys/bombs u get.

It is important not to waste bombs, better clear the rooms first and then check where you can use 1 bomb for more than one goodie (like bombing for secret room + one treasure chest).

The games all about beating it over and over again to unlock different stuff... or dying on the way, that's cool too. You get better and better, learn what items do what and what combinations are more useful than others.

I just finished it for the first time, thanks to snapshots in VirtualBox! :p Now new levels have been unlocked apparently, and it looks like I'll have to play it again.

Yeah, first time you complete the game you just beat Mom. Subsequent plays then have you enter the womb and finally Sheol (but I've never got that far) and they are very hard levels. As mentioned above, you get different endings unlocked on playing through multiple times.

Dude, I have like 40 Mom kills. Long way ahead of you. :D

My collection is complete beside this damn coal... maybe he some day appears in his devil room :(

Game is uberfun and addictive. Never thought about cheating in it. After you defeat a boss it's very likely to gain extra hearts, in golden rooms power ups, etc etc.

Mom's eye for example, it freezes the oponent from time to time. With it, you may defeat every boss without losing a single heart.

Any news about upcoming DLC?
