I do my best work in the dark. Lets catch some shut eye before night fall, we'll want to be fully rested. The scouts can keep watch if they won't be going in with us.
OOC: Checking In. Bri had me busy.

IC: The Warrior watched over his sleeping companions.
Ok, great. An army of undead will require a team effort. I will get the map up soon.

OOC: It may take days between answers, for that, I'll let you or Jack move Exile.
The Black Brigade seeks to raid the compound where Miken is hiding out. That compound is the northernmost structure on this map (all the way up top!).

9 undead armies stand in their way. The undead are immensely slow, moving at a rate of 0.5 per turn (once per two turns). They are in possession of melee weapons, so they attack from a range of 1.

Due to the size of their armies, no one can occupy the same space as an Undead Army.

You do not have enough strength to defeat them, but must instead break through their lines and reach your intended destination, again, the building all the way up north!

As you can see, there are roads here. Roads are not vehicles, naturally, so they do not make you move faster inherently. However, if you remain on the roads then every so often you will be informed that you can move an additional space.

If you occupy one of the buildings that are spread throughout the map, your block will be increased by 50% while inside.

To cross a river, you must go over one of the bridges, OR, you must build a raft using items from the store (I don't believe any of you have those items right now).

In the small desert to the west and the cliffs to the east, it is easy to get lost as the sun begins to set, so be wary of that.

Finally, the area in the center (marked by those brown plants) is considered marsh/swampland. You have just agitated a tribe that lives in swamps and marshes, so beware entering that area.

One last thing, the strength of the skeleton armies is unknown to you at this time. It will be revealed once they attack.

It is now movement turn 1. Good luck!

Lewendor moves South East.

Sielle: Lewendor moves South East.
Ok waiting on the rest!

As requested, I will be moving for Exile for the mean time. I am moving him North East. All 4 of the characters have to get to the destination, but they don't necessarily have to go the same route.

Btw, the Djinn is still with you! (Even if he isn't indicated on the map)

CowboyBebop: OOC: I'm ready whenever Jack and Lewendor are. If it really is better to wait for nightfall then we should. Also, we're fighting an undead army with only 3 people and nobody is a cleric who knows Turn Undead? I have only one thing to say to that: "Charge!"
Quoted so you can see the thread bump easier.

stoicsentry: OOC: Oh ok, my bad, I forgot about the the Nomad's demands for the goods. Hah.
avatar
JudasIscariot: OOC: What Nomad? What goods? I feel lost here...

IC: Jack decides to give 20% of the gold to the greedy as hell QM. But not until he gets everyone outfitted properly.

"What do you have for me, Cedrick?" he asked brusquely.
Quoted so you can see the thread bump easier.

Like I said before I took the deal but I'll pick out my item later. Nothing I would have selected would make much of a difference for this fight. :)

I approve this move

OOC: WE NEED A RAFT MAN!

OOC: Well, you can get across the bridges just fine.... though the undead would surely gather around those areas if they determined your intent was to cross.

A raft certainly would help, but it would have taken oars + strings + hatchet to gather lumber, and you only had one item each to choose from... so raft is pretty much out of the question this time.

Still, there are other items in the store, you never know what could come in handy. (In all seriousness, the effects from entering certain squares are determined at random, but lots of things can happen that store items might help you with.)

Jack will move southeast as well.
Got it. Just need Xir and we'll be set.

Xirdneh moves North West. I have a compass so I shouldn't get lost in the desert. I knew it would come in handy :)
