According to wikipedia, the remastered original will be able to be bought from console digital distribution services (PSN, XBLA), so they might release it on gog, but only if they see it as being an economically advantagous situation.

Starkrun: Its a bitch to get the Quake 3 engine working well on modern hardware.... i would love to see GOG work there magic on this title.... or maybe Heavy Metal FAKK2 ^_^

GameRager: FAKK 2...lol what happened to FAKK 1?

But yeah I wish for this too, ifor more than to just see Julie Strain's pixelated jumblies onscreen again. Can't even get a proper torrent of this game, that's how rare it is.
It's strange you should mention that game, I was recently looking into getting it working again (if I can find where I put the disc)

Druidshinobi: If they did release it i don't think they should charge much at all for it considering EA were very happy to just give it away for free to the people who preordered Madness Returns.
That was just a way to drive sales of new copies of the sequel. If you buy the sequel used, you have to buy the first game separately as an add-on for it. If they do decide to release it as a stand alone, I would expect it to show up for around the same price they are selling it as an add-on ($9.99 on PSN right now)

I had 3 copies of this at one time when I found 5 buck copies in some bargain bin somewhere....lost or broke every single one over the years....still have the accompanying Heavy Metal 2000 bonus discs though, somewhere.
