deshadow52: Hey thanks I will read that guide. I only played one game with players vs bots, but going in with friends no. At least here it seems that anyone who would play is playing in a different region. Maybe I should make another thread and ask people from NA to play with me and help me learn the game.
Since I have lots of free time on my hand and could use the practise, I can offer you to make an NA account and check if I can play with an acceptable ping. Or you can do the same with an EUW account. Just an offer though.

Glad the guide is helping. (:

That would be cool If you could do it. I'll make a thread too and see if some others will play too.

I'll see what I can do. (:

Edit: Did you already make the thread? Looks like you didn't so far. If it's possible here, I would make a more elaborate thread, maybe with a list of LoL players on GOG in the OP. Like I said, I have lots of free time. :D

I don't know what the rules of General Discussions say about this though. Are "Game xy General - Come play with us!" threads okay?

I already did although I will see if I can make an edit or something.
Dota 2 (you mentioned trying LoL, might as well give Dota 2 a shot as well)
Hawken
League of Legends
MechWarrior Online
Path of Exile
PlanetSide 2
Tribes Ascend (if there's actually players in your region...)
War Thunder
World of Tanks (can get grindy, but quite playable without paying anything)
American Army used to be good, not sure how it's these days, as I haven't tried it for years.
But at least back in the day, it was a bit more realistic than most shooters, but yet had many good maps and lots of action going on. I guess the game is still around, so maybe worth checking out?

America's Army 3 is still around if i recall correctly, you can download it on Steam. But there's a new version coming out called America's Army Proving Grounds, which is in open beta at the moment(you can download it on Steam right now). I played it and i liked it. This new version is quite different to the previous games in the series. It's still more realistic than most shooters out there (it's certainly not COD), but it's more focused in close quarters combat than its predecessors. I mean, the maps on the previous America's Army games were HUGE (especially in the first one), in Proving Grounds the maps are smaller. But it's still a pretty good game.
