I don't think so. I think it's better than Arkham Asylum. I had a lot of fun with it. Haven't completed it yet, though it has some nasty bugs and After playing more than 24 hours (according to Steam) I lost my save. Many people had similar issue, some even right before end of game. Some managed to restore it but I didn't.
I still recommend it. Most people doesn't have this problem and it will be hopefully patched.

DX11 bug is already fixed.

No theres still really bad framerate issues just not as bad as they used to be (it's now playable in DX11 which is why most consider it fixed but it's just mitigated a little not fixed)

OK, I will believe you. My card doesn't support DX11 so I went only from what I read.

It was 50% off on Origin the week it came out.

But for the US only, annoyingly enough. Which was why I waited for the inevitable Steam deal; delaying the PC release, overdoing it with DRM and shafting Europeans really is a bit too much. Buying now.

Shafting Europeans is so common I doubt they even notice anymore.
I bought Arkham City off Greenmangaming. No problems running it, but most voices are cut off. For example, when Catwoman opens the safe and someone points the gun at her head - no voices there. Same thing happens when Hugo Strange first talks to Bruce Wayne. Oddly enough, cutscenes are alright - voices, sounds, they're all in there. Any idea what's going on? I Googled for solutions, but none of them works, including disabling hardware accelerated sound, uninstalling the AMD dual core optimizer and changing the speaker set up to 2 (instead of 5.1 or 7.1)

Anyone knows what's going on? Greenmangaming's Capsule is also a POS to use. I don't even know whether the files I have are corrupted, and I'm not about to impulsively delete a cache of 12gb of files that took me 2 weeks to download, on the off chance that it might work.

I don't know, I'd head to the forums. This was not a problem in the 360 version.
I have the PC version on Steam and the sound works fine for me so it might be a corruption thing rather than a pc version issue, afraid I can't help you with the GMG version though.

I have an AMD as well with ATI card (6 core/HD5870), SB Audigy 2 ZS

I've got AMD too and have no such problem. Sometimes I've got strange crackling while someone speaks through some kind of speaker to me but I am not sure if it is intended or not. I use stereo sound with average quality so maybe try to lower quality?

Have you just try to use DX9?
Meh. This is probably the last time I'll buy a non-Steam game on GMG.
Necroing this post, as it is a good as any.

Does anybody know were to find manuals for the DLCs? I would love to see the new abilities explained. Trial & error is rather tiresome...

I haven't found anything. Is there an ingame help I missed?
Is it just me, or do the textures still leave something to be desired?
