He who dies pays all his debts.

Omerta is a rule or code that prohibits speaking or divulging information about the activities of a criminal organization. However, since you--GOG gamers--are practically members of the family, our friends from Kalypso have decided to disclose some of the information about the upcoming gangster-sim set in 1920s Atlantic City. Mind you, they cannot reveal everything and their time is limited, but if you are wondering what the heck [url=http://www.gog.com/gamecard/omerta_city_of_gangsters]Omerta - City of Gangsters is all about, or want to know more about the secrets of Kalypso Media Digital, just shoot (ha ha ha).

We will select the ten best answers from the comments below and send them to the developers of Omerta - City of Gangsters. In addition to that, one of the commenters below (selected randomly) will receive a free copy of Omerta.
Can we play with own style, or we're compelled to just being ruthless?

Professional devs, now that your work is not narrowed by DRM (at least on GOG), can you tell what's your feeling about that? (better answer not than just please Kalypso and/or us)

Did you skim the jails to find a consultant?
Why do you feel your game is worth $40, specifically given the fact that the studio has not had a track record typical of "prestige" priced releases?

How reactive is the game to a player's style of gameplay? For example, will there be specific events that take place if a player makes poor decisions; events that don't occur otherwise?
This is more about "business": For what reason did you decide to release this game on GOG on top of other usual retailers (Steam, GMG, Gamersgate... though these seem to be all Steam-keys) ?
After playing 'Gangsters', an old mafia-inspired RTS style game, I always wished for another tactical mafia-inspired game. Hopefully one more fleshed out beneath the surface. So I am looking forward to Omerta a lot!

I'd love to know more about the multiplayer mode/modes. Is it purely PvP or is there some type of cooperative option (two players against two players, or two players against AI, etc)? What can we expect from multiplayer?
How do you decide on a specific color scheme like the old faded pages of the criminal underground archives and dossiers to the blues of the city streets? Is it a stock set that's easily decided upon like the contrasting orange and green tiles of a room (that's also repeated in character health/courage bars) or something that's pored over time and time again until perfection is reached?
Is the main single player campaign time constrained or will you have freedom to keep going and expanding, perhaps discovering "secret" interactions and objectives aside from the main plot?
What was the inspiration for selecting this period in time as the focus of the game?
Does putting Omerta : City of Gangsters seen in height, have been harder to conceive?
[question may be redundant, as i haven't read much about the game before]
Will You be releasing a demo before launch?

What have you done to curb repetition in a game where repetition could completely ruin the experience
Other than the awesome choice for a setting, what is the feature that you feel most makes Omerta stand out from similar games?
Given the setting what is your favorite gangster/mafia themed movie, and why?
Any plans for expansions/DLC?
How much emphasis do you put on story? Is it something you put in to glue together missions or is it a big part of the game? In relation, do you have an estimate on the length of the game in story mode? And last but not least, will our actions make any impact on the story depending what we do or not do and how we do it?
