Nomoi333: Nice! I like the direction GOG is taking. As long as you give us good games for a fair price nd no DRM, i will remain a loyal customer.

Just...dont forget the old games. There are still many good old games not yet on GOG.
Legend of Grimrock can only be found DRM free here right now. And I'm sure more titles like this are coming.

pkeod: Would Faerie Solitaire be desired on GOG or no? We've been DRM free forever, and we are completely independent.
Yes, yes!

Bring your games here!

Also you would be forced to charge the exact same amount of money for everyone. Right now I had to pay extra VAT when I preordered FS2 on your site.

The new GOG Downloader is broken for me. Whenever I type in a wrong password, it displays an error message, which is fine. However, when I type in the right password, it just opens up another login pop-up window instead of logging me in. And when I try to log in with that pop-up window, it just opens up another. No way to log in for me.

This. Who ever thought thought it would be a good idea to have that bar taking up screen space everywhere? The few times I use it I scroll up and there it is, I don't need to see it all the time.

Ah, love the new GOG so far!
The game shelf is now easier to organize now that we can just stick one game between others instead of the old "switching places" method. The Community Wishlist is great addition and the Wanted Games list returns proper! And of course newer indie games DRM-free are welcome additions, though other than Trine and Darwinia i'm not sure how many i'll be buying as I got quite a few indies in the Humble Indie Bundles already.
Keep up the good work GOG staff, but don't forget about old games either.

Check out the sticky and the thread about this problem, apparently there will be a fix within 30 minutes or something for those having issues.

"It doesn’t matter what G, O, and G stand for" - oh yes it does, a least for this household implement! It's that "O" for "Old" that brought me here, and is the only thing that'll keep me washing the floors as usual, so don't You forget it!

GODzillaGSPB: The new sorting of the game list is a disaster. No more free lines allowed and no more free spaces between games. Moving one games shifts the whole stack. I had a nice order before, from now on I'll just leave it as is. Don't care anymore.

If that's what you wanted, congratulations.
I have to agree with this as well. My OCD wants to kill somebody.
Well I am waiting more and more newer games.

There are still some (not so)old games that I would like to see here (Startrek: Bridge Commander, Homeworld, Falcon 4.0, etc.), but to tell you the truth, most of the old(er) games are really too old to be worth anything more than a fond remembrance.

So, GOG, go ahead with the new stuff. Indie sounds like loads of fun lately and there's a ton of things worth spending time with. AAA titles will be even better. Fun for us, good health for an industry crippled by the DRM necrosis.

The wishlist box on the main Community page has an option to shrink the box, but as soon as you reload the page, it's back to being huge again. While the new wishlist is nice, it's taking up valuable screen real estate. It needs to stay shrunk!

I'm contemplating making a "new layout gripes" thread vs. just posting my gripes on the wishlist itself.

Roman5: They haven't really done much with it, but hey, at least you can hide games now

Aningan: I had spaces between genres. I can't do that anymore.

Oh, and a small defect. When I post something it shows me the first post I made in a topic rather than the one I currently post.
Same here, i had spaces between games too, as stupid as it may sound, i miss that feature :)
Bigger. Fresher. Laggier than ever!

Site looks great but damn has it taken a huge performance hit in my browser. Why? It's only a webpage! Holy cow!

I second the top bar. I'm assuming many users, such as myself, would be running laptops. That bar following you around chews up a fair bit of space. Knowing where it is - at the top of the screen - makes it unnecessary for it to follow me down each page.

Maybe, as you offer different colour schemes, offer the ability to use the "old look" also.

Looks like humble gog is starting to go mainstream :/

Edit:
Ok figured out the performance hit was due to a process I had running in the background and wasn't actually apart of the site design. Though not as smoooooth as the original, I'm sure the changes will grow on us.. in a positive way.

Keep up the good work guys!

It would be fantastic if you could make dropdown menus close properly on touch devices. Just like clicking anywhere on the page closes them, so should touching.
