My earliest known memory for video games has to be Atari 2600.
Its all blurry now so I"m not sure exactly which one I played first, but two games stand out in my memory:
Adventure and Ice Hockey. Ice Hockey was my goto multiplayer and Adventure was my, well adventure game!

One of my first gaming memories: I have had a PC computer with about 500 MB hard disk and I wanted to play The Sims, so I needed to uninstall all of my programs and games because of the lack of free space. Only Windows 95 and The Sims installed and no more space for something else, even for an expansion pack I have had.

One of my earliest gaming memories is playing Legend of the Red Dragon and USURPER on local BBS's. I also remember sometimes accidentally dialing a non-local number BBS and my parents scolding me for a huge phone bill!

One of my my most significant early gaming memories was my dad showing me how to use the DOS commands to launch and play Dune 2 then sitting with me to help me learn the game. Started my love of RTS that continues to this day. Also the command of DOS still occasionally comes in handy when people have issues with their computers that they can't figure out.

I'd like to be in for Silent Storm Gold Edition (Steam)

I had an Intellivision and my brother and I had this game we would play called Treasure of Tarmin. The point of the game was to beat the minotaur, and you could meet him on level 2 and quickly end the game. If you didn't kill him on level 2, you had to go all the way to level 70 to encounter him again. We wanted to know what would happen if you didn't kill him on level 70, so we kept going down levels. We had to leave the console on for days, taking turns going down levels (there was no save function). The system got VERY hot, and no matter how much we played, nothing would happen, just more and more levels... we eventually decided to turn off the console because we were worried about how hot it was getting. Years later I checked the internet and it turns out the game takes you all the way to 256 levels, then resets to level 1. Yeah.

We had other Intellivision games too, like Dungeons and Dragons, Night Stalker, Shark! Shark!, Thunder Castle... and lots more. It was fun times, these were good games at the time.

hmm... I remember playing Centipede for the first time at a local convenience store while visiting some cousins. Fascinating stuff back then. I remember playing with the random light handheld that supposedly played football. My stepfather's brother actually owned it, but he let me mess with it when we were visiting. It amused me that I kept getting great scores when I had no idea what I was doing. heh

The earliest gaming experience that I can still remember well was "Dungeon Master" on my fathers Atari ST.
I'm running around, choosing a few characters, go down the stairs and it's dark. Scary. I manage to equip a torch and look around. Mhm... a door and a button. *press button* A mummy!! *run away* The mummy follows me!!!!!
Took me some time to play the game again. ^^
I played the german version and they spelled "Vorname" (first name) "Forname" which is such an idiotic spelling error that I still remember it.
