spoderman: I'm just gonna leave this here as a placeholder, and to maybe gain some interest in it. Will post more info when it's available. The bundle is "coming soon" currently.. the graphics on the site are pretty interesting ;)

The graphics on the site are .....a little too interesting :)
If those graphics are supposed to be hints, I'm gonna need a new pair of pants and a bib.
No RSS.

Veto....
Sounds like another bog-standard throwaway Steam key bundle for games that (a) are commercially unviable and have already been in countless bundles before and (b) are desperately trying to up their MP population.

I very much doubt those images up there have anything to do with what the bundle is offering, unless you seriously expect Half-Life 2, Final Fantasy 7, Prototype, Borderlands and Tomb Raider to appear.

Don't forget Batman, Darksiders, and Rayman. Although to be honest, if any bundle did manage to successfully get a Worms game, I'd snap it up in a heartbeat (assuming the bundle isn't the same price as the game).

Well, Toki Tori, Super Meat Boy, Eversion and Magicka have all been in bundles before, so they aren't really all that unlikely.

But the other games depicted there are a good indication that the banner is an unlikely source of clues for what it will contain.

Well to be honest, a Humble Uplay bundle would help the Uplay store a bunch probably. Stuff like that is what gets people to make accounts, and that's a big step on the way to becoming a customer of Uplay.

Perhaps, although it's a fairly safe bet that many people who bought the Origin Bundle already had an Origin account, and are no more or less likely to buy directly from Origin as a result. I'd wager that the same would apply to UPlay - people who already bought UPlay games on disc or through Steam would lap up five or six free UPlay only games for a fiver, but those people wouldn't necessarily buy directly from UPlay on a normal day.

Consider Desura - there are thousands of people who have a Desura account because of the Indie Royale (and possibly Groupees) bundles, but I would imagine that, like Origin and UPlay, it is a very small subset of people that buy directly from there (although I admit I am one of the minority that does actually buy from Desura as opposed to just using bundle keys).

I wouldn't make that bet personally. I think a lot of people will have picked up Origin for some of the games in that bundle, and I certainly think it has increased the likelyhood of Origin sales increasing, particularly with the Sims 3, because basically giving people a cheap Sims 3 base game cut Steam out of the loop for DLC/Expansions sales. You need the base game on Steam for that, and having it somewhere else already makes people far less likely to repurchase it on Steam, especially given EA's relatively high pricing for a game like Sims 3. So I'm fairly convinced that move alone will have pushed Origin purchases to some extent. (Granted, purchases on third party sites as well, non-Steam,non-Origin)
New bundles like their "Coming Soon". Good for generating interest, as long as they don't leave it too long.
