Yeah, hopefully they can keep putting out bundles with similar quality.. If they can do that, they're as good as Groupees IMO.

This is a quote from a blink rep about VAC:

"The VAT charge is based on the location of the supplier. Blink is based in the Netherlands. Currently it is set at 21%.

IG and Bundlestars both charge it now, and both are located in Europe. Groupees, Indie Royale and Humble are not located in Europe, so they don't have to.

We're in the group of people that doesn't want to do it, but we have to."
Has something changed regulation-wise in 2014, that suddenly all EU bundlers had a collective VAT recollection?

That's not wholly accurate. Each country in the EU has its own VAT registration threshold, and when you cross that threshold, you're required to collect VAT to be paid to the relevant tax authority (HMRC, centres d'impôts, Finanzämter etc.) It doesn't matter where you are in the world - as long as you're selling to a country in the EU, you're subject to that country's VAT laws when it comes to sales there.

Getting caught is another thing altogether.

There's probably been some kind of crackdown on it.

Was just about to post this. Disappointing bonus for me, it's been bundled before.

Same, and I already got it too... but it's a great game anyway, so I'm not THAT disappointed.
And I think I know someone who'll like it..
A lot of nice games in this one. I'd buy it just for Archon if it were a DRM-free set. Still, good stuff for you all.

If they add some DRM-Free downloads (or at least Desura keys for some games), I bet they would attract a lot of customers..
