sajin: I apply GOG making money that let GOG last for long years, besides GOG don't hurt and disturb people, that's enough to make me funboy of GOG.
When did any other company in the gaming industry hurt and disturbed people?
I count both the modern warfair & Madden series as harmful and disturbing.

now the question is...which is which??

O_o
hummmm ..... I guess MW would be disturbing since if puts violence and racial profiling in the hands of children as entertainment, while madden I would count as harmful since I've seen people get in fist fights over it as well as run out of money for food / rent betting on it as a competitive E-sport type thing.

kavazovangel: Titan is a whole new thing, but we still don't know anything about it.
Or it's World of SC....

Galimatias: From a marketing POV - this is a huge success.
They're not spending a penny on Blizzcon.
They're not devoting any resources etc to it,
and yet EVERYONE on the internet is talking about "Blizzard is releasing 3 new games, they don't have time for Blizzcon".

Mad props to Blizzard PR people ;)

Metro09: Sort of like the GOG stunt where you 'shut down' the website for a few days to get all of the gaming websites to talk about it, amirite?
I was assuming that was precisely the joke.

I remember one of the devs saying it is a whole new franchise, guess we'll have to wait and see.
The title of their new game starts with an A, they're saving the name reveal for 2013.

WASD
w warcraft

s starcraft

A: "A"nother world of Warcraft?

That could be it! :)

Titan is a working title, anyways, just like Project Hydra was.
Considering that WoW has basically taken over the Warcraft franchise they might be considering creating a new fantasy RTS franchise to work with to replace Warcraft in their line up.

Nope, it has been confirmed that Titan will be a MMO game. The exact genre is still unknown, though. I don't see them doing a MMORTS with Starcraft 2 still well and alive (two expansions are coming, and who knows what after those).

Bleh another MMO
Though that said I bet it will be essentially WoW in SPACE! I suspect they don't want to lose the competitive gamer aspects of SC2 by shifting that franchise into MMO (that said they have teased WoSC one or two 1st Aprils ;))

You're forgetting the kerfuffle over the World of Starcraft mod that guy did with the SC2 in game editing tools. Blizzard almost roasted that kid alive. I think Riot offered him a job, though.

Ye, that was just stupid. How can lawyers and managers that represent a games development studio not know what is a game, and what a mod? Hoping the guy really got into the industry, afaik he was also offered an interview at Blizzard, dunno how that went.
yeah, blizzard lost their shit over that, I think even they had to stop after a bit and say "oh shit we are looking really fishy, aren't we?"
