ddmuse: If no expansions is the policy without any kind of explanation, then EA doesn't get my money.
Except it was explained, multiple times by GOG staff here on these forums. The expansions are like any other additional materials they include with a game; they have their own legal requirements and negotiations are required with both the rights holders of the additional materials and the rights holders of the game they are to be included with before they can be added to that game. They are already working on getting whatever expansions they can get for all games, including the ones from EA, but it is a lengthy process (it took more than a year of negotiations just to get EA here in the first place). Calling for a boycott (you can deny it and claim you were just expressing your personal opinion, but the fact is, you really did call for a boycott) over this normal part of the process here on GOG is plainly stupid. If GOG has proven anything to us, it's that they will make every effort to give their customers what they want and are often very successful at that. If you still don't trust GOG enough to do that again with the EA titles and don't want to buy these games unless/until the expansions are included, that's your choice, but all you are going to do is deny yourself the chance to play these games again right now without impacting GOG's efforts to get the expansions in the slightest.

ddmuse: I'll make this simple:

I have not and will not purchase *any* EA games on GOG (or any digital vendor) until (as a consistent policy) expansions are included with EA games or offered as an upgrade.

This includes EA games already released; Alien Crossfire for Alpha Centauri, etc. If an expansion cannot be released (for legal issues pertaining to rights, or for any other reason), then I expect an explanation.

I will vote with my dollar: I don't want EA on GOG if EA refuses to offer complete versions of its games. I will remain a GOG customer: GOG has displayed integrity and respect for its customers during the release of The Witcher 2, and that is enough to keep me here and trust that EA is responsible for these decisions.

It's that simple.
No.

lowyhong: You came back to GOG just to post this? Seriously? After so many "Where's Weclock!" "Come back Weclock!" "Weclock is overrated!" posts, and the first thread you post in is this?

Wtf dude :(
I didn't know about any of those posts.
