Here's a new type of game: A member starts off a part of a story, and leaves two options for the reader to choose, like said book series in the title. Example:

You and your best friend Buddy love adventure, and right now an abandoned spaceship down the street looks like a fun place... for Buddy. You, however, are scared of the dark. "Come on," Buddy says, "It'll be fun!"

Do you...

A. Go to the spaceship

or

B. Run off

AFter this, the person who answers this first has to follow up this choice with another part of the story, and then add choices, and so on.

Rules:

The only real rule is that the first person answering makes the next part of the story, with the next guy replying with another part. Begin!

Anyone?
A. Go to the spaceship

"Do you really think we should?" You ask, but Buddy has already disappeared inside. Not wanting to leave him alone inside, you follow.

You find yourself in the entrance, a small square metallic room about 10 feet to a side. On the left wall is a button lit by a green light. "Buddy!" You call out, "Buddy?" but there is no response.

Do you...

A. Press the green button

or

B. Wait

A. Press green button.

The lights immediately come on. The ship looks as dirty as a trash compactor, with what look like bones. Human bones. A chill runs down your spine. Only one person wears a Borderlands hat in your town, and that's Buddy. The hat's next to those bones. Suddenly, the door closes, and an inhuman shriek fills the air. Someone-something- is here. With you.

Do you...

A. Walk cautiously

B. Study the bones for any materials you need.
B. Study the bones for any materials you need.

You decide to examine the pile of bones on the floor, hoping to find something useful. Your heart sinks as you hear another shriek from whatever other-worldly being inhabits the ship. You are about to turn and hide when you notice a faint pulsing light coming from deep within the pile. After removing the bone you find a ring. It is faintly glowing with a violet hue. Do you:

A. Put it on?

or

B. Leave it where it is and hide?
A. Put it on

The ring has ancient markings over it, looking like a mixture of Roman and Latin. The material feels rough and chipped.

The ring's center suddenly shows a whole bunch of lines, with a dot in the center. After quietly walking 3 steps, you realize that it's a map you're wearing. You are the dot in the map, and there's an arrow pointing to the front of the ship; the control center you reckon. There are other rooms here labeled; should you check them first?

A. Follow the map

B. Check other rooms on map.

Bump
Hello? Anyone?
B: Check other rooms on the map

As you start down a long hallway, there are doors to your right and left with strange symbols marking each door. You try to open the first door on your left with a snake-like symbol but it is locked. Then you try to open the first door to your right with a dragon-like marking, but the shrieking sound starts again even louder than before. The door on your right is unlocked…

Should you...
A: Open the dragon-marked door?
B: Continue down the hallway?
B: Continue down the hallway

You are too afraid to enter the door to your right so you just keep walking down the hallway, after a few steps the sounds of the door gets from louder to deafening driving you mad, after an agonizing period of time you faint.
You woke up in a dark room, tide to some kind of bed with chains, your body is immobilized with the chains but your legs are free.
There is an odd smell in the air, you sense that something really bad is going to happen very soon. You hear footsteps approaching you from the dark. You:

A: Wait until the person approaches you and try to kick him with your legs.
B: Start screaming for help
Bump
B: Start screaming for help

The smell intensifies as footsteps quicken and draw nearer due to your cries for help. Soon you seem to be able to identify a strong stink of stranded seaweed, brackish port water and wet death. "Oh God, please no tentacles now!" you think, as fear tightens your throat making it impossible for you to continue screaming. All kinds of Lovecraftian B-movie plots run through your head, as you hear a screeching noise after which the floor beneath you suddenly gives way.

Do you:

A: Whimpily shout "Dagon, command me my Lord!"

or

B: Death-defyingly announce "Cthulhu, here I come, you sad sack of frog bones!"
This story is getting better and better :D

GastonArg: This story is getting better and better :D
Indeed!
B: Death-defyingly announce "Cthulhu, here I come, you sad sack of frog bones!"

The bed and chains disappear, and you get the sense that you are falling, but you can't be sure. You feel weightless and your stomach is a few inches higher than it should be, but you do not feel the rush of air on your body and the pitch black void into which you've fallen provides no visual reference for a fall. After minutes of nothingness, you can't even remember from which direction you feel--there is no up or down. Time stretches on, and just when you feel madness creeping up on you, you feel yourself smash into something. It is hard and pokes your body, yet oddly soft. You begin to wiggle and move, trying to free yourself, a memory of your first and only time in a ball pit flashing through your mind. You finally get yourself up and turned around to see what it is you have fallen into. It is still dark, but a soft glow illuminates what looks like a pile of bones. And though you are certainly no expert, you could almost swear they are from some amphibious creature...

Do you:

A: Examine the bones to see if your suspicions are correct.

or

B: Write the possible coincidence off as your imagination and try to get out of the pile of bones.
