Coinciding with this weekend's promo we're running couple contests for all those who will benefit from this deal.
So, yes we're giving you a 50% discount on six simulation games from Strategy First, but that's not all. We're launching 4 contests and a lottery to go with the promotion, where you can win free games! Sounds like fun? Because it is :) The only rule to enter the contests and the lottery is to take benefit of this weekend's promo by buying one or more games. More information about the 4 contest and the lottery can be found in the continuation of this news [url=http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/Contests_for_the_weekend_promo/perm=1/#p_b_1]here.
Pro Pinball series hi-score contests (3 of them)
For the next week we'll be accepting submissions in the Pro Pinball TimeShock, Pro Pinball Fantastic Journey and Pro Pinball Big Race USA high score competitions! All you have to do to enter -- in addition to buying a copy of one of those games here at GOG.com during this weekend's promo -- is send a screenshot of your highest score (from one or all three parts of the series) until Thursday at 11:59 p.m. EDT, to users@gog.com. Next Friday we'll award the top 3 scores from each game with a free game of their choice from the GOG.com catalogue! There's no limit to the number of times you can enter (though you can only win once)! We're looking for the highest score in standard 3-ball games.
DarkStar One spaceship show-off - part 2
Yes, we know we did that once in the past, but without huge success. We're repeating the contest and we count on your creativity and artistic sensitivity :). Customize your spaceship, choose a beautiful setting, make an astonishing and breath taking screenshot and send it to users@gog.com until Thursday July 29. On Friday (July 30) we'll award 3 users who will send us the most beautiful images with a free game of their choice from the GOG.com catalogue.
Lottery
This one is easy. All you need to do to enter the lottery is to buy at least one of the games from this weekend's promo before Monday, July 19 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. We'll draw eight (yes, 8!) lucky winners, from everyone who purchases at least one of the discounted games, who will receive a free game of their choice from the GOG.com catalogue.
That's it folks. Good luck!

Great idea, Team GOG! ...but now I actually have to play the games I buy instead of admiring their glimmering box covers and pondering which I would play first.
Really a great idea. Too bad I don't play either simulators or pinball games, but hopefully this isn't the last time you're doing something like this.
Good old David still has a trick or two up his sleeve, eh?

We try our best ;)
Hmmm. Where are the details about the contests? When I click the link, it just links back to the first post.
(I still remember last year there was a pinball contest to go with the promo.)
great idea this sounds like fun or hard work :)
The post seems to link to itself with no further info.
Whatever it is, I hope it's something you repeat though.
More info on the 4 contests please!
Hey! The link points back to itself :) where are the details of the contests please
The post originally said (paraphrased):
1. Free game for top 3 scores in each Pro Pinball
2. Free game for top 3 screenshots from Darkstar One
3. Free game to 8 random people who purchase a promo game.
It didn't mention anything about those who own all the games already. Who knows what may be changed?
Wow, excellent idea! Thank you!
Sorry guys and gals, don't know what happened, but the details for the contests just disappear (it must be the damn temperature). I posted them back, so hopefully everything will be ok now.
Count me in! Grabbing Darkstar One now! XD
