There's been a few small threads, but I figured I'd start one for realzies.

I never played CK1, I tried to get the freegames version from GamesGate to work but it always crashed when saving. The demo for CKII was my first experience. It's so like EU3 but not at the same time that I was having a blast playing the demo.

I just preordered. Two DLC's + CK Compete for 33 dollars was too much to pass up. And GamersGate gave me enough Bluecoins to get Sengoku, so I Paradox-Doubled Up.
Tell us what you think about it once you have had a chance to spend some time with the full game. Paradox titles are usually notoriously buggy on release, but CK2 beta testers have said that this is most likely Paradox's best release to date (in terms of how bug free it is).
And you just reminded me that I have not got Sengoku yet, so my Paradox collection is not entirely complete :(.
Unfortunatelly, demo runs very slow on my machine. IT's moslty because i have weak graphics card.

But CK1 was aweome. (only with Deus Vult expansion and last beta patch), so I asume CK2 will be even more awesome :P (after some patches)

Crusader Kings is much, much different than EU3. Eu3 is a strategy game, where you are a country. CK is more like soverign simulator.

Your sovereign can be jolly and gay apparently

It's fine. It's realistic. At least one polish kings was gay.

but you can't bang 9-year-olds unfortunatelly.
The more traits the merrier. I've got one guy in EU Rome with about ten of those, sadly mostly dealing with incapabilities.
EU Rome was fine, too. It was in the middle between EU and CK , fine domestic policies.

I remember my best playthrough in CK, when I, as King of Poland, spread my kingdom through entire europe, and then...

the ruler caught pneumonia, my kingdom fell apart in few years, and this was all over :P

EU: Rome was great, once it got its expansion (pre-expansion, it was lackluster.

And yea, I've had a few people in EU: Rome with absolutely horrendous traits, and lots of them. I once had one who had so many traits that when i checked my nobles, his traits filled the entire trait space. He was one of the worst guys I've ever seen, bad at everything, everyone hated him (which might have been a good thing), and he was ambitious. I ended up assassinating him, and no-one seemed to care (I usually just put unruly nobles in jail, as it is a safer bet, and then I let them rot there, but he was a special case).

A humble ambitious pious devout zealous generous shrewd narrowminded reckless rash arrogant dumb deceitful weakwilled submissive unnoticeable energetic maniac.

As someone doing an early review I will second their statements. It's the least buggy Paradox release I've ever played.

Chris Hansen: Why don't you have a seat over there?

You can marry them though

Wasn't Sengoku supposed to be the least bugged?

Dunno, never played Sengoku. All I can say is that I had zero crashes, one buggy UI element and a bit of placeholder text. It works surprisingly well. (Except for the tutorials, those are completely borked, but really unnecessary and should just be removed.)

You can? I've read somewhere that they disabled that option because it might make bad publicity. (yeah, seriously)
