Nope.

emusan: Unless the game has a 20+ hour single player along with a vastly improved physics engine, I will NOT be getting near it with a 10 foot pole.
Asking for 20 hours out of a first person shooter is like asking for the moon on a stick. It's not like an RPG with sidequests its one continuous story and you will be lucky to get 12.

I mean through multiple play-through's, I was able to get more than 20 out of Crysis, and in that it was fun to play through it the different ways(stealth vs. head-on), I even got ~15 out of Warhead, which is fine by me because its price was lower, but for $60 this game had better blow me away.

Ah well you are asking for a good story, not nessesarily a long one. The sort of story that makes you want to play the game again right after you finish it. Sadly all too rare these days. Most games are designed around spectacle which can be amazing the first time but less so on a replay. I've already noticed console 2nd hand copies of Bulletstorm and Dead Space 2 on the shelves and they havent even been out a month.
"Unlike the first game, Crysis 2 doesn't have any graphical sliders or checkboxes to enable. Instead, there are three preset modes: Gamer, Advanced, and Hardcore."

Hmmmm...
When I first tried the demo, I was blown away by the visuals. Then I noticed some slight chugging. I went to my settings, hoping to turn off a few bells and whistles, when I learned that the only way I could make it run better would be lowering the resolution.

What the hell, Crytek? "Gamer" should not be the lowest option, and "Advanced" should let me turn certain features on and off. Guess I'll be getting it on the 360, if I get it at all.
I too was amazed on the pretty poor choices considering grpahics quality. But then again, I won't be buying Crysis 2, I just wanted to see what the hoopla is all about.
Multiplayer only demo is like stabbing yourself in the balls because you wanted a meatball dinner... its not the same, gimme a single player run though or a bot match enabled game and don't force me to log into your slow barely working servers..

skipped and will never play, good day EA :)

acare84: I hope singleplayer campaign will be good and longer than the CrySis 1.
As Ive heard its as long or even shorter from reviewers that got to blog early, and from a few slips at talks. The focus was on MP since this is a console hump fest. just like all other games with multiplayer they screw over the SP campaign in favor of getting a few extra play weeks and 20 DLC packs because humans are simple minded and think they need it ti play MP just look at Bioshock 2.

Try turning off motion blur..it improved FPS quite a bit for myself and others. I've written up a bunch of tweaks here.

lol yeah, the demo of the first game sold me on it almost instantly, especially being able to try out the physics, and the fact that there were even some mods.
I was really uninmpressed by The demo, pretty boring overall

Looks like I'll be playing more Killzone 3 in the meantime
MMMmmmm Killzone 3 Not there is a game... they seem to have found a magic formula for the PS3 players... that game is blissfully beautiful and buffeted of all buffoonery!
