As you know CrySis 2 multiplayer demo has been released. You can download it from the link below.

http://www.ea.com/crysis-2/1/demo

I played the demo and did 6 matches. Graphics are amazing and game is running better than CrySis 1. Multiplayer gameplay is similar to Call of Duty. Leveling up system, killstreaks, class custimization, weapons addons, killcam etc... They are same as Call of Duty. We can call this game as Call of CrySis 2 too. :) Anyway I must say multiplayer is more enjoyable than the first CrySis but they must remove aiming assist (we are playing the game on PC not on consoles). I hope singleplayer campaign will be good and longer than the CrySis 1.

The EA PR machine has been in overdrive lately with Dragon Age 2, Crysis 2 and Need for Speed Shift 2. The Crysis 2 singleplayer certainly looks good so far but if it's short like Dead Space 2 then I for one will be disappoint.
Unfortunately I don't care one way or the other about the multiplayer, as I'm not going to use it anyway. I don't suppose there's a singleplayer demo on the way, is there?

Nope. I'm just installing it to see how it will run.
Wonder what the point of a second multiplayer demo is, aside from another map and/or game mode I'm not sure what it could add that the first one didn't.

In spite of the fact I don't do multiplayer, I'm half tempted to download it to see how it'll run but I know for a fact it'll be perfect at full quality so it'd just be a waste

Because not everyone in the world has Xbox 360 and love consoles.
Thanks, OP, I had no idea the demo has been released. Downloading now. I wonder how my 8800GT is going to handle this..

edit WOW. Well I heard it's better optimized than Crysis, but I had no idea it'd run that smooth! Performed smooth as butter on a Q9550/4GB/8800GT PC. Great demo with two fun levels. Gonna get back to it later, it's cool they added so much statistics into the demo :)

Wasn't the previous demo released for PC as well but a week later? I was pretty sure it was and was tempted to get it but ran into the same problems as I have with this one coupled with the fact that I got it for the 360
Nope, that demo was Xbox 360 exclusive.

Is it supporting a 360 controller?

Yes it does, just like the original.

Awesome, thanks!
Servers seem to be down. Can't connect.
Just played through a few games of the demo, I find it to be quite a pile of shit myself.

The move to TINY maps does the game no good at all(I assume its to compete with CoD), as the only reason I played old Crysis multiplayer and Crysis wars was due to the nice large maps with vehicles. Now it seems every battle is either a few shots in the back or a spray fest.

The weapon that I had the chance to use(the assault rifle) didn't seem to handle very well at all, and this only contributed to the spray-fest.

And the Graphics, while improved, seemed to be for the worst. Everything seemed blurry almost all the time(I don't know about you, but I need to turn a lot in order to stay alive), and the brightness seems way off, like my characters eyes are not adjusting to it(you'd think these nice nanosuits would have shades).

There is even more that I hate about this demo, but this was just the main points.

Unless the game has a 20+ hour single player along with a vastly improved physics engine, I will NOT be getting near it with a 10 foot pole.
