What's wrong with that requirement? (I ask because I program in .NET 3.5)

Thanks for the info. I figured it was something like that, but wanted to be sure. Basically, it just seems like the balance of the game is too far off.

I'm running the game on Linux with wine.

EDIT: and I do not want to install Mono.

That's a tough one. I don't know if it will help you, but here is what I did :

- As soon as you grab the ammo, stop and shoot the pack that is in front of you. Shoot once to get them started (most of them should be heavily injured anyway). They now should run towards you, in line (or close enough). Shoot again and the whole pack should be dead. No more than 2 ammo is a very good start. Once, I managed to kill the whole pack with 1 ammo, but I failed the mission at the end, heh.

- Get closer to the left fence. Another wave is coming from that direction. Now, you can't allow them to get any closer. If you manage it well, you should have used 3 or 4 ammo for the whole pack.

- Right away, another pack is coming from the right. Run North as far as you can (try to reach the narrow trail with the fence on both sides). Again, this wave requires no more than 3 or 4 ammo.

- Take the health potion and keep going slowly and stop as soon as the pack is coming from the North (don't wake up the zombies). Don't forget to trigger the special attack.
Switch to your sword to kill the dogs that are almost dead, it's not always easy but it's important to save your ammo. Take time to regenerate and kill the zombies using your sword. That part is pretty easy.

- Move on and grab the ammo box. Same technique : move slowly until you see the beasts, run backward and shoot wisely.

- The end is easy as you only encounter zombies.

Once you figure out that the scenario is scripted (the dogs always appear at the same spots), it's fairly easy.

This is the level I'm at now. Thanks for the tips!
In case there are others still trying this game...

Has anyone defeated Abaddon, the final boss? Any tips? I can make it to stage 2 out of 4, but that's it. Extremely difficult compared to the previous bosses.
