I have fairly recently acquired a pronounced taste for dubstep - I freely admit it was the break-beat bridge of the inimitable Cezar in ESC that after a few lateral steps lead into this.
In anticipation of the Original Sin, I am replaying Divine Divinity, and was blown away how the ambient music in Dwarven Halls (or "Dwarven Clockwork" in youtube) is so bloody progressive at the turn of the millennium - the mellow beat, wobble, the syncopation - that is the very essence of dubstep!!
What do you think?
And are there any actually good dubstep sets to be had in Europe? (also feel free to PM me)
I went to a party in Zürich (headliners xKore, and particularly big like to Fourwind) just now, and while it could keep you dancing until the first trains, I felt that the dupstep element was not prominent enough.
Was this just bad luck, or is it really difficult to find full set of proper dubstep sound (excepting maybe London)?
