Me I didn't liked DA2 for a different thing. They opted for simplying the game a lot, to make it more action perhaps. Don't take me wrong, I like a good action game, I gratly enjoyed assassin's creed II, and Ezio didn't had levels or other things. But I thought that I was buying an rpg, and frankly, I'm not sure it fits that.
And yes, I was a bioware fan, and I hope you don't think I'm crying like a little baby. It's their game, they can make it in what they want. But it's my money, and I work hard to earn it, and if I don't enjoy a game, well, I'm free to buy another that I find more of my liking.
So, yeah, they have lost me for ME3 or DA3, at east for the pre-orders. Perhaps I'll pick it up some years after their realase date if their price is really low, but now.

Not to derail the thread, but I'm curious, as I admit I seldom buy new games and content myself with playing the good old ones:
Are most of you interested in new games because they come from a certain publisher? I mean apart from the understandable caution against notorious DRM advocates, do you think in terms of "I'm excited about the new game from EA, Ubisoft, [insert publisher here]"? If you hated the gameplay of Dragon Age 2, would that make you shy away from trying the new Alice game, for example? I know the publishers probably have a lot of influence on the direction a game is going to take, but personally I'd still be more interested in the developer first (or maybe even each game individually). So I'm puzzled by EA's comments and the reaction to it because to me it would make more sense if BioWare admitted they have lost fans, not EA. I didn't know the publishers had a lot of fans, too ...
Or is this some unwritten law that the developers are responsible for all the good games, while all the bad games are the sole responsibility of the publishers? ;)

I try to judge each game, I simply didn't liked DA2 and are one of the few who enjoyed more ME1 than ME2, so I'm not giving that two games a preorder try in their next incarnations.
But I greatly enjoyed Fifa this years, maybe because I've been a long time away from the saga, so yes, for me is simply that those two games aren't of my liking. If EA publish something I like,I don't have anything against them.

Mass Effect 3 and Battlefield 3 are two of my most anticipated games in the next year as well.
