For a good laugh, check out Gmail Motion.
It´s the new technology that allows you to manage your emails using body movements.
Be sure to watch all the videos, my favorite one is the Motion Specialist.
There is also a downloadable printable motion guide that is hilarious.
I'm thinking a good joke would have been to make the homepage and forum redirect, for today, to the wishlist.

Wait, that's not really a joke.

Miaghstir: They got quite a backlash the last time the did a joke. Granted, that was in september, wasn't it?
Yes it was September. If yesterday was April Fools' Day, GoG actually invented September Fools' Week last year.

I recognized that as a joke, but at the same time thought that it was kind of subtle. I didn't view any of the materials though.

Compare that to the TiSP from a few years back. http://www.google.com/tisp/

You big tease... I bet you send all the ladies in your office flowers even if you're married.

I did not know about that one. TISP has a lot more tech info and even a "support" forum.
It is also very funny. Seriously though, If Google did offer broadband internet service to my country, i would gladly "flush down" my ISP.

bazilisek: Interesting. I never realised defenestration was such an unusual world in other languages. It's something of a national sport around these parts.
Oh come on, wouldn't it be fun to watch another one? But let's not do it like the LAST time, that was lame, there wasn't even a proper spear impalement.

In the US, Google is going to be setting up its own fiber service in various places, hopefully we'll be chosen. Seriously, Qwest and Comcast just suck, the speed of our connection hasn't changed more than a little in over a decade.
