DProject: Alpha Protocol is definitely up there. I've only finished it once, as an assault rifle soldier since it was recommended everywhere, so I have no idea how the game plays with a melee/stealth -character (poorly, from what I've heard). But I thought my game experience with the soldier was a good one, definitely above average. The choices you could make everywhere were really interesting.
Dude, if you only played AP once you haven't really seen game's strongest side - its unique adaptivity. Basically anything you do the game takes into account and changes the story accordingly and it always makes sense no matter what you do, Also, pistol/stealth is the Supreme Build of Overpowered Overpoweredness. Didn't like melee that much, but I have a feeling its because of clunky PC controls, might be better on consoles.

We totally need an AP thread.

DProject: So you're telling me you know better than I, what sort of problems I ran into? I played the 360 version, a promo copy, so maybe the problem was my TV, but seeing I have no such problems with any of my other games (amounts to about 40 retails), I'd still blame the game. I'm telling you, when I left outdoors, I couldn't see jack if I didn't increase the brightness on my TV. And when I went back outside, the massive whiteness was enough to burn images onto the screen in seconds. And onto my vision. Therefor I had to decrease the brightness. Switching constantly between these settings was a pain. And yeah, I do know about the flash effect; that is fine.

Yes, I finished the game despite hating it and dying constantly from falling, and no, I did not use guns anywhere else except that one point where you have to.
I beat it on PC but I played 2 hours or so on xbox and I could see perfectly fine. sitting 1 meter away from 48 inch plasma TV. no blinding whatsover.
Hmm... nothing new here, but Two Worlds. I got the demo and hated it. Swore I'd never buy it. But then one day I was in the mood for that type of game, and decided to try something new. And I loved it.

Sure, it's a bit clunky, and the voice acting is hilariously bad, not to mention the script (Who in their right mind thought a character running around looking for Taint was a good idea?). But once I got used to it, it was actually a good time.

And Alpha Protocol. My major gripe with the gripers was that they seemed to expect another "kill everything with one shot" approach that many other games have. Many people seemed to miss the point that it was a bit of a hybrid, and you had to actually work on improving your skills. Ok, the graphics were more like something from PS2, and I don't think it would have been possible for the main character to sound any more bored than he did, but overall it was quite good. They just should have polished it more.
Bought alpha protocol when it was released sadly couldn't get into it may have to replay it someday, on the other hand mirrors edge is one if my favourite games of this gen, fresh take on the first person shooter with great gameplay, unique art style and awesome set pieces just lacking in length. wouldn't really call it underrated though just didn't sell well to my knowledge. And I know I'm Gunna get a lot of hate for this one but the shadow run fps. I know it really shouldn't have been called shadow run and it has nothing to do with the series but man, I was playing that game online for 6 months and had a hell of a time it was awesome shame about the lack of maps.

PenutBrittle: It's a pretty recent game, but only on Xbox 360 and PS3. Should be fairly easy to find; I checked Amazon and they definitely carry both versions.

I've seen only negitive reviews it seems for the Splatter House remake that came out a few years ago. I thought it was a really fun, violent, entertaining game. I'd really love to see a sequal, sadly I doubt I will.
