Yes, exactly the same information each time.

Defenders: Tackling, Heading
Midfielders: Dribbling, Passing
Wingers: Dribbling, Passing, Crossing
Strikers: Finishing, Heading

There's probably more, but they seem like the most important ones.

Just checked the squad screen; so far we have human players in the following positions:

GK
DR
MC
ML
FC

Technique, Pace, Game Vision, stamina and movement are important to everyone (except for keepers)

Yes, haven't changed anything. Maybe the fact I joined the team helped...

Positions are as nmillar listed plus Rondel is DR too (at least he posted it here, he is not on the team yet.
Base it more on position you like than the one we need. You can still pick every position (as winger, MC, DC, FC or WB) so it's better if you pick the one you will like.

My initial account was rejected. Apparently, they don't believe that Homer Simpson is my real name. XD

Anyway, I've re-registered and my player's name is now Michael Patton.

Funny enough my account was accepted with a delay after being inaccessible. Seems like just waiting it out solved everything ;)
There is a little problem though given our team statistic:
GK Andy Stevens
DR Artek Goliński AND Mathias Arminia
DC Henning Mangelsdorff AND Michael Patton
MC Henrik Solberg
ML Ondřej Tobolák

DR and DC are now set twice.
If I switch to DL and one of the DRs switches to MR/FR, we'd be set, or am I missing something? (I thought we had a FC?)

Well, a traditional 4-4-2 formation would have two centre backs, but if one of the DRs switches to DL, then we have a defence.
