As our catalogue gets bigger and better every week, it’s easy to lose track of some of the awesome games that we have to offer. Of course [url=http://www.gog.com/en/catalogue#all_genres/search/fallout/]Fallout, Baldur’s Gate, and some other of our most popular titles will always get a lot of attention, but GOG has many more classics to bring you. To help encourage you to explore the dustier reaches of GOG’s catalogue, we’re going to be offering a promo on the first and third Wednesday of every month. Think of it as a curated promo on some of GOG’s favorite titles that you may not have played. Whether we’re encouraging you to explore incredible new worlds or inviting you to see how a titanic series got its start, we think every game we’re going to be offering on our GOG Gem Promos will be an excellent title, and we hope you give them all a try.

The next wave of Lands of Lore 1+2 isn't your style, don't fret, we've got a great gaming gem from a completely different genre for you in today's GOG Gem Promo. Save 60% on Alien Shooter + Expansions today and get tons of aliens to pulverize, hours of brainless carnage, and a therapeutic way to blow off some steam for only $2.39!

Explore the endless corridors inside an secret underground military complex and plow your way through hordes of ravening aliens with the most advanced weapons money can buy. You need to get to the teleports used by the alien scum to advance on through the levels and save the world. Upgrade your character with biomechanical implants or buy even more and bigger guns so that those alien invaders will never know what hit 'em. ;)

Don't wait! The promo ends tomorrow, November 16 at 7:59AM EDT (that's 11:59AM GMT).
"blow off some steam" sounds nice.

Is survival mode in this version "limited"? I.e. the game runs out of monsters at some point.
Code claimed by Ubivis. Enjoy!

No worries mate! I know what it's like to just miss out on them.
GOG, I told myself not to buy any more games but here this promo is less than $2.50? It's like a forbidden fruit that I keep looking at ... so tempting.

Edit: I also like that you chose 7:00am EST to post news, releases, etc. That time is right when I'm traveling to work. So, I always have a nice surprise waiting for me at work when I log in to GOG.

I have Zombie Shooter, from the same company, on Steam. :) Fun timewaster, although unbelievably gory (well, sprite gore); it would be better with the ability to save anywhere, also.

I get this game (series) and Shadowgrounds mixed up all the time, even though I have no idea if they are similar games at all (both are overhead view action shooters?). Well, now I have both from GoG. Hopefully Alien Shooter 2 enters a promo soon too, and maybe get Shadowgrounds 2 to GoG as well?
I bought the pack with all these shooter games on Steam a while back, and I found Zombie Shooter to be the more fun of them. Although they are basically the same, there just seemed to be a better feel to it (can't really explain it better) when shooting the zombies rather than the aliens.

Fun game worth the price.
Nice, but I've already played through all of them two times, third time would be overkill, I guess :)
It's a pity that it isn't Alien Shooter 2.

Ah, Sigma Team, known for making some rather good and entertaining isometric shooters and for having the least inspired game names ever :)

Let's see, they've made:
Alien Shooter, where you shoot aliens.
Alien Shooter 2, where you shoot aliens again.
Zombie Shooter, where you shoot zombies.
Zombie Shooter 2, where you shoot zombies again.
And Alien Hallway, where you shoot aliens in a hallway.

So, in my opinion - good games, amusingly uninspired and bland names :)
another great gem promo, added to my collection!
